@TheNuggetProject
@TheNuggetProject 17 күн бұрын
oh man, honestly without seeing what you've done i wouldn't know. if you wired up your ignition wires through the switch there should be no way that car can run once ti's switched off so you've obviously got some sort of ignition power still running to your fuse box and ecu, but once again without seeing it i have no idea. If you use a multimeter and figure out what each wire is you really shouldn't have any issues.

I wanna hear some 2ZZ goodness! Not sure where you're headed with it, but thats where I would go with it myself. 9000rpm of spine tingling NA raucousness. Plus you can tell the wife its just a Corolla engine, nothing silly. Love seeing it come together. The little things like a dummy assembly to check things over, and to get an idea of how its going to look when its done, can really help to keep up the motivation. I like the driving holiday for the Wifes birthday idea. Sounds like a great way to enjoy some time together; in a rad little sports car on some spectacular driving roads. Sound deadening is huge in these cars. Cameras won’t capture it. But a fully sound insulated aw11 has tons of drone and road noise. The windows are thin and frameless on the doors, the metal is thin. @@mikeconnelly7032 the auto pad isn't tall enough :) and also with the pedal bent to be in the right position the pad is crooked so even if I cut it down the top and bottom face would be crooked, so much better to cut it back and weld a proper shape pad on it :) Yeah I don't mind grip tape pedals for race cars but not for road cars, I use the side of my shoe a lot for blipping the throttle and tapping the brake, I'd wreck all my shoes haha, rubber pads work just fine :)
