Superb commentary. I regret to admit that I was a young married man when Sylvester McCoy took over the keys to the Tardis, not the little boy who had been enthralled by Hartnell's and Troughton's Doctor. My interest had waned. But in later years, it's been revived, and this video showcases what a superb incarnation of the Time Lord McCoy delivered, especially under the magic of Mr Cartmel's inspirational ideas. Greta video - well done!

Thank you! McCoy is just awesome! It is such a shame that his incarnation came during a time when not as many viewers were watching Doctor Who.

@@TheObsessedWhovian95 I really regret that I was one of the absentee fans during his era. He was a great Doctor, as I'm belatedly coming to realise. Better late than never, I suppose! And my (now-adult) children love Doctor Who, so I console myself with the hope that I've helped add a new generation of fans. Keep up the excellent work, btw.

Its funny, technically Seventh was my first Doctor. I was a small boy, staying up late to watch the Doctor Who tv movie. I'd HEARD about Doctor Who but didnt know what it was about. So though some might say the Eighth Doctor was my first Doctor, Seventh did set the ball rolling! Ghost Light is one ep I love to show friends for how mysterious Seventh could get, even the often mocked Happiness Patrol for the moments he gets to shine through the surrealism. This was an amazing video, wonderful retrospect!

On the whole I thought McCoy was an excellent Doctor. Ghost Light and The Curse of Fenric of course.
