Teddy is my favorite authority figure in wrestling history. He was a change from the heel authority figures that even then were overplayed, & he had such charisma & personality that you couldn't help but love him. I'd pop everytime he booked a tag match or made someone go one on one with... the Undertaker!

Loved this era, where raw and smack down has two clear leaders and authorities. Bischoff and Teddy. After that I can’t remember another dynamic duo that ran raw and smackdown. Bischoff Was the egocentric maniac and Teddy was the cool good guy. They balanced each other amazingly.

Smackdown was on fire in 2007. 2005 - 2009 was a pretty decent peak for the company in general after the end of the Attitude era but before things started to pick up again with NXT in the mid 2010s.

theodore r long the "best smackdown general manager ever." they said he was on smackdown before he became general manager he use to be one of the referee's on the show but smackdown has had several different referee's over the years so i don't remember him being a referee but i do remember him being on smackdown before he became general manager theodore long was the manager of the reflection of perfection mark jindrak who would later team with kurt angle and luther reigns in 2004 and become one of kurts minions and form a team/faction with them. so teddy was actually on smackdown twice before he became general manager but like i said i don't remember him being a referee the first time i remember seeing him he was a manager for mark jindrak. they shouldn't have fired him "best general manager ever."
