Beautiful park. We didn’t know there was a north and south unit either. We did explore both. Felt we had to get our National parks passport stamped by both. So happy you guys are traveling about. Just a nod to the park rangers. We always stop at the visitor centers talk with the ranger(s) see the park movie. Take advantage of any ranger talks. The park rangers are so very passionate and knowledgeable about their park. Not just National parks but National monuments, National sites the list goes on. Cole sure is a quiet one. Or maybe just quiet when he is hungry.

We always like stopping by visitor centers as well! Was kind of bummed we didn’t have the chance during this trip. Cole just isn’t quite as used to the camera yet as I am!

Have a blast! It was such a cool place. We had no trouble finding a boondocking spot but can't speak to the difficulty of securing a designated campsite during peak season. It also helped that we showed up on a weekday!

This looks like Yellowstone without the crowds. I love your review on the boondocking spot you are at, very helpful. Thank you!!

Yes! I would say the landscape isn't quite as diverse as Yellowstone but the wildlife viewing is just as good, if not better!

I was suppose to go here this year but ran out of time on my trip. So I will do this next year when I come from my Yellowstone trip.

Yes I highly recommend it! Maybe not a place you need to spend a lot of time but definitely worth a day or two.

I think it’s time for Cole to get a cowboy hat and start the rumor he’s Morgan Wallen’s brother.
