I’ve watched sitcoms like Scrubs, friends, Seinfeld, how I met your mother, parks and rec and of course the office. No other show had me going back to rewatch episode to episode and made me laugh and cry at times like the office did. This show was like being in an relationship with it, you got annoyed with the characters but couldn’t stay mad at them forever, they made you laugh, cry and fall in love with them. And once it ended you just kept going back to it because you never wanted it to be over in the first place.

No, he's not... dude, he's an actor. It's good to have feelings to your favourite characters but seeing actors as those characters seems a little... troubling? They are not the people you see on the show. Those are great creations but thinking the performer is the same as the performance leads to psychosis...
@x3n0686 жыл бұрын
CauseAG It’s not even that, it’s just once you’ve seen an actor play a role like this it’s hard not to be reminded of whatever character you’re reminded of even in other movies or shows. This is especially common with young people, my age and younger, because for whatever reason they like to fantasize about that stuff. Do you know how many fan girls think Tom Holland is just like Peter Parker, when really he’s nothing like him at all?

I found the direction of the show went... Rather weird after Steve had left. It wasn't about their.. Work oddly. It was more about their personal lives instead? I dunno how to explain it. But when I watch the earlier seasons, it was about making sales, trying to keep Dunder Mifflin afloat and clear from bankruptcy. Every episode was something hilarious, but had a touch of "oh fuck who will get fired, are their jobs done!? Will they make the sale and get the client or will Michael Scott fuck them over with his antics?" In the last couple seasons.. Weirdly went and basically ANYONE can walk into the managers office and sit down and claim the throne for their own. Robert gave 0 fucks, wanted to smash and didn't care. The show is still funny.. Buuuut just didn't seem to have that focus the Steve seasons did. Lol... Eh, I don't know how to explain it.

I’ve watched a lot of shows in my life. But THIS. THIS!! I immediately finished then almost immediately started rewatching it as I listened to Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsley’s podcast. The void that this show leaves you with is incomprehensible.

You’d think they’d proof read the description before posting, especially since there’s an error in the very first word.

Greatest show of all time. My wife and I have watched it from start to finish probably 10 times. We still watch it and it still makes us laugh. I will probably watch it forever.

I think this is the number 1 show that will be watched until the end of time. It’s far more timeless than any other show. Nobody watches mash or cheers or many other shows from the past all that much but this show will always last as a good storyline and hilarious, 1 million years from now people will be talking about Michael Scott.
