Having watched Lex Luger growing up as a wrestling fan, I was stunned watching this. Not just by the physical difference, which is shocking to see, but in watching Lex's manner of speaking as well. The spiritual/mental change is as drastic as the physical, and so very evident. I wish him well. If he has had a rebirth in Christ, you can only say Amen to that.

Atheism isnt a religion. Religions believe in a supernatural of sorts and have rituals, celebrations to it. An Atheist simply is someone who doesnt believe a diety(s) exist. Its not the fact that i never give up, its realizing that certain things dont add up, and believing what makes the most sense and knowing in my heart that i simply cannot be someone i am not. This in turn is comforting. Good day.

While you may want to comment on his change of appearance, pay attention to his change of heart. He spoke with humility and owned up to all the wrong he had done. That takes alot of humility. I am pleased and dare I even say proud that he and Sting (Steve Borden) were scripted friends in WCW and later in life both turned to the Lord Jesus Christ. A wonderful testimony

+Blakkset The thing I noticed most was how respectful and sweet he was to that elderly man. It was obvious that he had little knowledge of the wrestling world, but Luger not once seemed to talk down to him for not knowing like I see more often in similar interviews. People seem to have their own ques they look for when judging character, for me one has always been how patient people are with, and how they treat, the elderly.

It's funny how everyone is commenting on how Lex is small now because of the "lack of steroids." Lex had a tremendously serious spinal injury, which caused him to lose a lot of weight. If you think he can even do half of what he used to, you're kidding yourself. The man is very fortunate to still be walking, much less alive!

I hope Luger spends the rest of his life in peace, he deserves it after all those dedicated years entertaining people around the world.

Lex had unreal genetics and imo, definitely the best body in the business. He really did look amazing. However, roiding can tend to be very complex area. I have some education in biology and chemistry, and general anatomy, and i have been lifting over 20 years and been around MANY people on roids. Believe it or not, the best time to be on them, testosterone, GH, etc, is when youre a lot older, typically 40+, and the reason is, because your endocrine, glands, and hormones secrete much less, as well as aging, metabolism slows, etc. When your 19, mid 20s, you dont need to be flooding your body with it, and if you dont stack it properly or take the right ester mixes and all that jazz, it will shut down your own system, since it will adapt to the 'overdose', essentially. But honestly, if you do it in a proper clinical manner, at the right time in life and know exactly the kind to take pertaining to what your goals are, they are far from deadly, even beneficial. You see, the problem with Luger, Steiner, Dynamite Kid, Davey Boy, and many others, is it wasnt illegal back then. These guys loaded up on everything, most of them not even knowing wtf they were doing or taking, and yes, with the constant slamming, crashing, and banging nt the canvas, chairs, tables, cement, etc, it has a huge toll on the heart, hence why so many die young. And yes, he did have a major injury, so...he obviously cant do what he used to do pertaining to his old routines, and hes much older now as well. Im sure people heard the Warrior just died as well..unreal. Now, you look at him though, he was Lex's age roughly and looked fantastic before he died. Eh....i mean, hey, Lex found the right path in life, people just need to stop flaming him and forgive and forget. I dont believe at all he was a murderer, just ridiculous and no reason why he would kill her or anyone. He just lived a bad life in the fast lane, made mistakes, etc. None of us are perfect.

He really came off like a very respectful and humble guy. It's so good to hear someone take responsibility for his actions. I feel like I'm in the minority of people who can actually admit when I have done the wrong thing so it is really refreshing to hear that from another. I bet his entire outlook on life changed for the better when he got things off of his chest and started living a more positive lifestyle. Even people we have written off, not to say I wrote Lex Luger off (or even thought deep enough into his life) have more good in them than we could have imagined. Sometimes there is just some form of obstacle in their life preventing them from realizing their true potential.

There were plenty of people in the bible that were not so good that God turned around, Maybe Lex might have been a bad person at one point in life, But maybe now he can give back to the world and do some good, Please let me know which of you here are perfect, and never wronged anyone or did anything wrong, I would love to talk to you!!!!

Why is it that people always find God when they are down and out, probably you have heard that everybody find God in prison , I would be really impressed if people find God when they are at top of the mountain.

transformer889 what I’ve realised in my life is that everyone is on a different path. You’ll find people that have walked with God who “didn’t find” God in the valley. The simple answer to that is you never found God, but God found you. And they may sound like a stereotypical response for people who “find God” in there valleys but it’s a real one. We all have different journeys. I found that the guy who was addicted to drugs for 20+years and is now a Christian is no different to the guy who was brought up in a Christian home and loved it out all of his life. We all have a story to walk, and to live. It’s just a matter if you want Jesus to walk with you on it.

Lar, the book was very well written and as a reader I could feel some of your pain. You didn't really address Peggy and the kids towards the end Like I had hoped for. Brother, you went through hell and back again and the greatest legacy that you leave for all of us is that success can never be measured by money or material items. We have to store up treasure in Heaven by following Christ's example here on this Earth. Fantastic book and I'm sure it required a lot courage to expose your dark days. May God Bless you in everything you choose to do. Even the Total Package is a mere man.

Lex attitude has changed much indeed. When he was riding high his ego was the size of Texas. It was years ago at a Nitro event in South Carolina when I was at a restaurant and Luger along with Scott Steiner and Jeff Jarrett were at a table some kids went and asked for autographs Jarrett and Steiner signed autographs for the kids and Lugar refused to sign autographs and would speak to the kids.

reed richards yes only some young punks would be pushing comic books in the man's face...anyone that is older is a little more mature about things and would most likely realize the story of the video instead of focusing on 1 mistake that a man that is 80 made...
