At the end of this month I will have read the entire Bible in a year 10 times and starting January 1, I will start 11 times. I wanted to read a book I could sink my teeth into and the Bible was it. It has fed me everyday these past ten years and I will continue to be fed for the rest of my life. Oh how wonderful God is and through His son Jesus I have become so close to Him and never want to stop this love relationship. I am in love. Praise be the Lord Christ Jesus ❤Blessed be God forever 🙏🏼

Okay, do it, dear. Don't worry. Get closer to the Lord and don't turn your face to the ground. Declare repentance from your heart so that God may get closer to you, as He says. “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” (James 4:8) So I say to you, my dear brother, declare your repentance and do not worry. I was like you, but when you declare your repentance and surrender your life to God, I promise you that you will not want anything else.

2024 is my first year trying to read the entire Bible. I have just 2 weeks to go thanks to The Bible Recap. I highly recommend it for new readers because you read things in context in chronological order and then get a summary (a. k. a. recap) with extra information every single day. The chronological plan means, for example, you read David’s psalms during his trials and tribulations in 1st and 2nd Samuel and you read Paul’s letters to Galatians and other early Christians during his travels in Acts. While reading, it’s like watching a movie unfold so you get the full story of redemption and understanding God’s nature. My church is going to start a second round of reading in January. I’m excited to read the Word again with this group!

PS John 3:16....✍️✝️🇺🇸👈❤️ Please pray for me that the Lord will keep me strong in the faith and to give me strength through my past mistakes. But also that the Lord will rest His Holy Spirit upon my family members. I came to the Lord 7 years ago when I got sick with late-stage chronic lyme disease and even though I'm still suffering today. I can see how the Lord is working in my suffering changing me shaping me into christlikeness he's doing a good work within his children Philippians 1:6).

Not to be mean but I'm more impressed with people who actually understand the Bible than how many times they have read it.
