WHODINI was (left to right on album cover) the late great Ecstasy (who was the last rapper on this track), Jalil and the DJ who was not pictured, Grandmaster Dee. They were one of the biggest rap acts of the 80’s. Definitely worth a deeper dive.

Nas made a special for Video Music Box. I knew of Rap City and Yo MTV Raps due to kin folk with cable in SC GA and NJ. On Paramount You're Watching Video Music Box is a good watch. One of my top 5 rap groups of all time. The most underrated crew in my opinion. Composed of Jalil, the late Ecstasy and DJ the green eye genie Grandmaster Dee. Check out "One Love", "Freaks Come Out at Night", "Magic's Wand", "Friends", "Smiling Faces", "Fugitive", "Funky Beat". They were a very early group as I remember their earliest hit "Magic's Wand" came out in late '82 if I remember correctly but they were more stylized as R&B Rap.
