I'm from and currently in Iowa, slipknot is definitely well known in the state, and my favorite band. Their concerts are absolutely works of art and the music has gotten me through some of the toughest times in my life. I even have a signed bottle of whiskey! Thank you for this, I love seeing people loving slipknot!! Corey Taylor is one of the most talented musicians ever. Much love!

When I saw joey/slipknot at 14 for vol 3 tour i was like seeing gods perform. I'm still a huge slipknot fan but at the time, at 14, slipknot was my life. Thats all i listened to and seeing them front row to the point Paul himself handed me his bass pick. I have it framed it even has his fingerprint. One of my greatest moments of my life ill forever cherish. RIP Paul and Joey, true Metal gods.

It's impossible to capture on video how crazy this is. I've seen slipknot 11 times now and have done this spit it out jump a few times. The entire crowd gets as low to the ground as possible then at one spot in the song everyone jumps up hard and fast banging into each other then stomps the ground as you land. If there are enough people and you're in the middle of it you can literally feel the ground shake!

i’ve been to hundreds of concerts, and slipknot puts on one of the best i’ve seen. one small thing i appreciate about them is that Corey always closes their shows with that same “take care of yourselves, take care of each other” talk. seeing them again this summer at Download Festival with Metallica (and a ridiculous # of other amazing bands) and can’t wait.

I was in that crowd, Download is the UKs biggest metal festival. Attended it 3 times worked there 4 times. Being in the middle of 250.000 people moshing to spit it out is an experience that is hard to describe. Absolutely incredible.

Corey Taylor, the lead singer, raps a lot on their self-titled album, definitely worth checking out lyrical versions of their songs when reacting to Slipknot 🙂. Also the live version of this song from the Disasterpieces DVD is waaaayyyyyyyy better than this version in my opinion. This version has a shit ton of views due to crowd size but Slipknot's performance here I feel isn't their best. Great reaction though guys!!!

This was filmed in 2009 (the song was from 1999) at Download Festival in England. Sadly, it was also one of the last Slipknot performances by the classic band... In 2010, bassist Paul Gray died from an OD... Drummer Joey Jordison was out of the band by 2013 and passed away in 2021... Percussionist Chris Fehn was fired recently... The other members still in the band are: Corey Taylor (vocals), Jim Root & Mick Thomson (guitars), Shawn 'Clown' Crahan (percussion/ backing vocals), DJ Sid Wilson (turntables), and Craig '133' Jones (keyboards & samples)... Currently, Slipknot has Jay Weinberg (drums), Alessandro Venturella (bass) and Michael Pfaff (percussion/ backing vocals). The name 'Slipknot' came from a song title they had written in 1993 before the band ever existed... The song 'Slipknot' was recorded for their 1996 indie album 'Feed, mate, kill repeat'... The song was re-written and recorded for their 1999 album and re-titled '(Sic)'... The band came together around 1995 in Des Moine, Iowa... Shawn Crahan (percussion) wore a clown mask to band rehearsals and freaked the others out, but they decided to have everyone mask up to play live... Joey Jordison (drums) suggested the band be named 'Slipknot' after the song they had written... The members had played in local death and thrash metal bands like Body Pit, so they brought those elements in. This had to be the most fun I've ever had during a concert!!! Not this particular show, but just getting to be a part of this during one of his shows is cathartic to say the very least!!!! Now you all need to see the other side, the "softer" side of Corey if you will. Snuff live is Amazing! another good one from Corey at the helm is From Can to Can't or Bother with his other band Stone Sour. He crosses many genres of music and has an amazing voice when he actually sings
