Yes it is unfortunate that the quality we expected didn't happen. What is the better option? When you find out too late that the sound can't be fixed .. post it or not post it? I find it better to listen on solid speakers - listening through my mac laptop to most things is not fulfilling. .

Sound is trash! DMC should have connected directly to the mixer. Instead, it sounds like the are recording with the little microphone on an iPhone.

It's actually kind of ironic - if you look at the comments from the 2014 DMC NYC Qbert showcase - you would find everyone saying the audience was dead because we did direct audio and no one could hear them. All I can say is - we keep trying. When I found out too late that the sound wasn't optimum - I still posted it - because it's Qbert.

First off, I agree with many posters in that the sound is terrible. This is from the official DMC account... you know you can do better. You are targeting DJs, who are sound junkies! Qbert is one of the G.O.A.T.s. Period. However.... I get tired of his electro-fueled sessions. I keep hoping he’ll embrace new music or other genres. Give us something new. Love Q, just sayin’.

@@itimmy101 Yeah - well I doubt I will ever take advice from the champion who suggested that again... It's great to hear the audience but I too prefer clean clear sound. It's maddening that - on the other side - Qbert's 2014 DMC NYC Showcase has a ton of comments from arm chair experts assuming that the audience was dead or didn't like Qbert's set because they couldn't hear the audience. We tried it the other way for a change. Not doing that again ... if I can avoid it. Back to direct audio!
