When people first see Ren, and they look at his “bardcore” stuff it doesn’t always register because it’s a bit artsy, musical theaterish. Especially his trilogy of tales. It’s hard to compare it to music you hear on the radio because it’s not the same kind of thing But when you go down his rabbit hole, and you see he can sing R&B and reggae, RAP RAP, play guitar, beatbox, mix, and then you actually pull up his lyrics… Even if he’s not your favorite, you end up building respect for the guy

Romain was the lead guitarist, the bass was Gorran - both of them sing as well on different songs and covers. There are more covers by them like War Pigs, Wade in the Water, Bongo Bong (Romain sings as well in French) Englishman in NY (Sting Cover) but also their originals are fire - Watch Out, Sweet Little Lady (live) All my Heroes, etc. Like others mentioned Ren's collabs with Sam Tompkins are amazing busking live Earned it/Mans world/Falling or Blind Eyed either video version or one ft. angry garage attendant is fun! Ren is also a story teller.He has a trilogy of stories, Jenny’s tale, screeches tale, and violets tale. If you choose to watch, watch the full version containing all three tales at once. It’s long but riveting. The guy is a performance artist.

Great reaction. "The Big Push" (Ren Gill, Gorran Kendall, Romain Axisa, and Glen Chambers) busking sessions, concerts, and live recordings all are awesome and well worth checking out. Their covers of "Wade in the Water/Nina Simone/Trouble so Hard," “War Pigs,” "My Generation," "An Englishman in New York," “Bongo Bong,” “These Boots Are Made For Walking,” the songs "Oh My Woman," “Swan Song,” “Sweet Little Lady," "It's Alright," "Watch Out," “Dignity,” and so many others are equally impressive. The band performed their last official busking session and gave their last concert in September of last year due to the fact that Ren was leaving for Canada to undergo medical treatment for his multiple health issues, including surgeries.

You brothers need to dive into the king...Bob Marley. Ren channeled his vocal perfectly in that song. In Rastafarianism Zion stands for a utopian place of peace, unity, and freedom as was promised by God. Zion is a common theme in Reggae music. But yes, Ren is a generational talent.
