Ok guys that another rap. Nice video. Looks like you were in Melbourne. If I'm right we use to camp at a resort close to that tall tower building in the back ground. So Sam, you said they consider stone crabs to be a by catch in a blue crab trap? Does that mean even if it's closed season you can still keep them? That new recipe looked good. I love peach salsa. If your ever in publix they have one in the produce department. It's a sweet/spicy one. Best I've had. Hope all is well. Tight lines....

@@TheOldCoupleOutdoors I don’t know everything about Blue Crabs, but I do know that mature female blue crabs only mate once, but they may produce egg sacks up to 3-4 times with stored sperm from the one mating encounter. That’s why I now try not to keep any immature females. Also, the aforementioned eggs inside a female crab is not the same as the egg sack under her apron on her way to lay eggs. You cannot know the inside eggs are there until you actually open the crab, so Gail’s Food, Music and Stuff should not be upset with the restaurant she mentioned. I totally understand where and/or why she or anyone else would get upset because of the decline in Blue Crab populations and trying to be objective, but there is a lot of information out there regarding reproduction and research on the most “delicious delicacy” on the great big ole planet Earth of ours🌎🦀🦀🦀 Please continue doing what y’all do! I love watching y’all share and enjoy y’all selves, y’all love of each other and y’all love of the great outdoors 😍 Big Fan 😎
