I discovered R.C. Sproul a year and a half ago and have dug deep into Ligonier connect. I've been so inspired by R.C. and pastors/ professors in Ligonier connect along with these Q&A sessions that i am now pursuing a Master of Divinity sure. Thank you Lord for bringing R.C to this world to leave such a wonder and glorious footprint.

I'm 57 years old I went down 10 years ago this month I'd been so depressed the Pain the shame then a little over a year ago I read where this man's friends took him to Jesus and to get to him they broke through the roof I looked up what this man was suffering from and it was the very same disease that I've got. Just seeing that took a ton off of weight off my shoulders I've still got the Pain and the disease but the depression,despair,shame has all gone Thank you Lord.

The christian church is walking generation after generation , R. C. most be close to the eternal rest, but sure Presbyterians has done their job, there is a good group of gentlemen faithful to the Bible and well knowledge that will remain doing the work of ministry.

Leslie. Once saved always saved apply's unless the person was not saved 1 Cor 5 the man living in open sin. Paul said "give him over to satan for destruction of the flesh (body). Why are we saved "By grave through faith NOT OF OURSELVES IT IS A GIFT OF GOD NOT OF WORKS LEST ANY BOAST". This man was restored; 2 Cor 2 ; 6 - 11. Please read the whole background of what happened. "A man living with his brothers wife openly and no one telling him it's wrong to live that way. Thy stop fellowship and turn away from him. Paul very wisely says that this action will only give satan more power. "Why" we are instructed to forgive and live a life giving forgiveness to others. If she is saved your love will convict her time after time after time after time. Our western church has impressed upon us all sin. What is "SIN" Missing the mark. I miss the mark every single day I live. Yet A sister in law who was a BACKSLIDER. We had tussles with for close on 50 years. Always standing in serport of the other camp. 55 years later all her would be dreams crushed she called out to God and is restored. She told me she knew the truth all those years but was rebelious aren't we all at times only we don't do as badly as others. Forgive. Please Read Jude 20 - 25. REad annd REad annd re read again untill it lives in your bones. Then you become a danger to the kingdom of darkness. His lies fall through truth. God Bless. you.

len Graves Thank you. We show nothing but love to her except in the way she wants which really isnt love. It’s accepting her sin as not sin. We stand our ground. Also Romans 1 says everyone knows the truth instinctively by nature and by God putting in the conscious. So saved or not, she knows the truth. I hoped she’s saved bur she just took one more step away from the truth recently which gives me great doubt. Sigh. Sorry to vent. Thanks for your prayers.
