Should a Catholic, or anyone for that matter, have sex outside of marriage?
What does the Catholic Church teach about sexuality and why? What's wrong with having sex outside of marriage? Is this just an arbitrary rule or is there a deeper meaning behind the Church's teaching?

These are all really great points that addresses and emphasizes the negatives of the hookup culture and mentality that the speakers allude to when it comes to "being used" for sex; however I believe that another important point that was not addressed was the kind of sex that occurs between a couple who are NOT married but are in a long term COMMITTED relationship. In cases like those, it seems like sex is a culmination of the intimacy the couple feels towards one another in the same way that you characterize intimacy, which I would assume is self-giving in nature, but aren't in the confines of marriage yet for a variety of reasons (finances, career, not ready yet, etc.). Idk if this is gonna get addressed or answered but I just thought I'd put this in your radar to think about in future videos or articles to address somewhere.

There is no good reason to have sex if you are not married to the person. If you are not ready for marriage you are also not ready for sex. And if you are ready for sex, why not marry the person. The reasons you listed for not being ready for marriage also apply to sex. If you really want that level of intimacy but don't want to marry the person it's because in the back of your mind you or the other person aren't sure if you really love each other and want to spend your lives together, when you have sex under these circumstances you're doing it with the knowledge, conscious or not, that you can still back out and separate from the person if you choose to do so. The reality is that if you are not married there is no commitment and things can end at any time, spending a lot of time exclusively with each other does not equal being committed as you haven't officially made that vow and promise in front of God and each others' families and the community. And if you are in a long term relationship and marriage is not in your near future, what are you doing in this relationship. The goal and focus should be on reflecting seriously on whether you want to marry the person and then preparing to get married to them, if you love the person and have the desire for sexual intimacy with the person, not to have sex with them when you aren't even ready to get married yet.

Your talking bollocks what about an older couple who can no longer have children but are totally in love and want nothing more than to be one in a very intimate emotion felt only when two become one and show there ultimate feelings for each other God would never find fault in this

Where did Christopher say that married couple should not have sex if thay can not get a child from it anymore? He said that if you reject sex as something that is life-giving than you are not true about what sex actually is and then times come when it start being about raw pleasures and not love. And it is different to not being able to get a child but still having sex (bcs of old age)and removing possibility of having a child by using condoms etc. Doing is the same, but the heart is different, one is open for life while other is closed.
