Thank you very much for these videos Elizabeth, you're such a sweet and bubbly soul and I love watching your videos on the TOB channel. Thank you for inviting Crystalina over to remind us of what it means to have a fruitful relationship.

So amazing! I have had a very similar story to Crystallina and God has been so good. So much to say but always give yourself completely to the will of the Lord

Crystalina tells it like it is and the other thing is we already know this, but we ignore it. I love how she just calls out everyone, even the people who think they don't have a relationship with God. God is that still voice that tells you when you are doing something wrong, at that moment we need to be firm and hear him and simply obey. It really is that simple.

A good question but also....does He want that that for every single person? Clearly others are fulfilled in other ways. I would like to see these talks include discussion for people whose goal is not marriage.

"Discernment story" is a lofty term that has become popular to describe priests and religious telling long-winded tales (usually, to Catholic media looking to fill air time) about how they decided upon their career path. A basic life decision for which the word "decide" has even become insufficient, "discern" apparently being a more long-winded word. If you believe any of that, then to call this woman's decision about whom to marry a "discernment story" is silly, inappropriate, and even borderline offensive.

Discernment has to do with including God and following the Holy Spirit in understanding your individual path to heaven with a vocation like marriage, religious life or remaining single. It’s not a career path. Married people and religious still have other careers
