If noticed her as hot already you've sinned. lol. I remember years ago we were at a beach and as we were sitting there all of sudden men/ boys started stand up farther down the beach ( It looked like a human wave, like what you would see in a football stadium ) when the wave got where we were here they're was 2 drop dead gorgeous girls, I'm assuming in their 20's walking a along the beach. Sin is transgression of the law. Where does it say in scripture a man can not desire a Christian virgin? If you’re referring to Matthew 5:28 - Jesus didn’t say “woman” in the original Greek (words of the Holy Spirit). But he said “wife.” Do not desire another man’s wife. That’s the 10th commandment. Do not covet anything belonging to your neighbor - including his wife. God’s prescription for lust = marriage. Lust isn’t sin. It’s how it’s used. If it’s used to fornicate, desire what’s forbidden (married woman), then it’s sin. Marriage bed is un defiled. God will judge fornicators and adulterers. And yes - you can have more than one wife if you meet God’s requirements.

I'd start with keeping good custody of the eyes for a while first and praying for the ladies. Most women in modern society have lost all sense of modesty. And lust is one of the vices the saints recommend we fight by fleeing from it and the near occasions of it, not exposing ourselves to it.
@aurora5658

@CatholicWisdom
@CatholicWisdom Жыл бұрын
St. Thomas Aquinas’ 4 ways to combat lust: Firstly, by fleeing the external occasions such as, for instance, bad company; and in fact whatever may be an occasion for this sin: “Do not gaze not upon a maiden lest her beauty be a stumbling-block to you… Do not look around you in the ways of the city, nor wander up and down in its streets. Turn away your face from a woman dressed up, and do not gaze upon another’s beauty. For many have perished by the beauty of a woman, whereby lust is enkindled as a fire” The second way is by not giving an opening to thoughts which of themselves are the occasion of lustful desires. And this must be done by mortification of the flesh: “I chastise my body, and bring it into subjection” The third way is perseverance in prayer: “Unless the Lord build the house, they labor in vain who build it” [Ps 126:1]. And also: “I knew that I could not otherwise be continent, except God gave it” [Wis 8:21]. Again: “This kind is not cast out save by prayer and fasting” [Mt 17:20]. All this is not unlike to a fight between two persons, one of whom you desire to win, the other to lose. You must sustain the one and withdraw all support from the other. So also between the spirit and the flesh there is a continual combat. Now, if you wish the spirit to win, you must assist it by prayer, and likewise you must resist the flesh by such means as fasting; for by fasting the flesh is weakened. The fourth way is to keep oneself busy with wholesome occupations: “Idleness hath taught much evil” [Sir 23:29]. Again: “This was the iniquity of Sodom your sister, pride, fullness of bread, and abundance, and the idleness of her” [Ez 16:49]. St. Jerome says: “Be always busy in doing something good, so that the devil may find you ever occupied.” Now, study of the Scriptures is the best of all occupations, as St. Jerome tells us: “Love to study the Scriptures and you will not love the vices of the flesh” [Ad Paulin.].

Jesus never said if you look at another lustfully you already have committed adultery. He said if you do that you have committed adultery IN YOUR HEART. Why do you leave that out? Jesus was not making the act of adultery and adultery in your heart morally equivalent. His point is sin begins in the heart and that is where you need to nip it in the bud.

Inner thoughts could be, “What a beautiful creation of God. Like me, she is a human being. Like me, she is a person. Like me, she has ambitions, sorrows, family, and a purpose to fulfill. I honor myself and honor her by seeing her the way God sees her. I am to protect her and to protect myself from anything in my heart other than respect for her as a sovereign, intelligent person.” We are sensitive to one another spiritually. It is not appealing as a woman to see lust in a man’s eyes, even if she finds him attractive. It is…ick. But she can admire and appreciate a man who sees her as a person, a daughter of God. A good, strong man gives his burdens to Christ, and bridles (redirects) his feelings and thoughts to align them with God’s.

For men, it gets very hard to stay living righteously when women sexualize themselves everywhere. You can't go to the store, or the gas station, or school... Even church without seeing women wearing revealing attire which by nature is obviously sexual and does nobody any good when we are supposed to be living a holy life... Everywhere anyone looks you will see short shorts, short skirts, cleavage, skin tight jeans, jeggings pressing up against girls vagina's showing everything, anything that makes their butts look "nicer", things that make their boobs look "bigger" or less saggy and whatever else that reveals themselves in a higher sexual light etc. In reality all you see is women who sexualize themselves, online all you see is women sexualizing themselves but even in a worse way. The very basic nature of "makeup" is to make someone more attractive which seems like 99.9% of women wear. This isn't to "blame" women and say everything is their fault, but they sure do add wood to the fire that men are trying to put out in their lives to live for God. Men also don't help the situation because they give the attention to women that they crave making it worse. And because of the strong sexual desire in men, men proudly accept sexualized women so it just keeps continuing unfortunately. I'm sure come judgement day the people who could not control their lust, and the people responsible for creating lust in others will all get shown how wrong they were. I almost think the people creating the lust in others will be held more accountable than the people who lust for these people because they caused the downfall of others not just themselves. Either way... it's all wrong.

When I see women, attractive or unattractive, I view them as my sisters. God changes my perspective of them almost instantly. Sometimes I encounter guys with aggressive expressions or body language, that would cause me to feel aggressive. God makes them, almost instantly, my brothers in my heart. God also places a protective attitude towards them all in my heart, and that brings peace. Over time, this perspective has become my normal perspective. I still fight against my human nature, but God's Holy Spirit wins every fight in seconds, at the most. I do however, feed my lustful fantasies about my wife! Those become very useful! Thanks be to God! In Jesus' name!

Hey everyone! I just wanted to share some good news with you all. Let's just put it this way, the Ten Commandments are called the Moral Law. Ask yourself this. How many lies have you told? Have you ever stolen anything? Have you ever used God's name in vein? Have you ever hated someone or ever looked with lust? This is for you to judge yourself, but chances are that you are a lying, thieving, blasphemous, fornicating, adulterer at heart and you HAVE to face God on judgement day. Now ask yourself this. If God judges you on judgement day by these Commandments, will you be innocent or guilty? Of course you'll be guilty because we've all done these things. The truth is that none of us are good people and we NEED God's grace to make it to heaven. We judt simply cannot do it on our own. These Commandments arecalled the Moral Law. You and I broke the law, Jesus payed the fine. So now what we must do to be saved is to repent of our sins and trust alone in Jesus Christ!! To repent doesn't mean to just say I'm sorry, but to turn to Jesus and let Him truly be our Lord continually. If He is our Lord, He will lead us away from sin and into righteousness. He said that many will say to Him, Lord, Lord I have done all of these things for you. And He will say I never knew you. Depart from Me, ye who work iniquity! And those will be cast into outer darkness and raging hellfire and loneliness for all of eternity!!! Because we broke His law, He is very, very just to send us to hell. If someone had murdered 4 people and said to the judge, I've done nice things too and have tried to treat people nice but it was just one time, the judge would then say, okay but you're going to jail. And the judge is very just to do that. One last thing, if you were 10,000 feet in the air and you had to jump, you wouldn't jump out and flap your arms and try to save yourself. That's ridiculous! You would put on the parachute. It is the same with Jesus. You must trust Him as you trust the parachute. We are not good and we cannot save ourselves with our own goodness. We must trust alone in Him to save us. In just a moment of time you can pass from death to life. Jesus said, "Truly, truly I say to you, you must be born again." That is how we enter heaven. Through the blood and grace of Jesus Christ!!!!✝️If you ask someone how to enter Heaven, they will most likely say, "Be a good person." Well the Bible says that “none is good, no not one.” We like to compare ourselves to guys like Hitler and say, "Hey, I'm a pretty good guy compared to him." But when we compare ourselves to God's standard, we realize that the Bible speaks truth when it says that we all sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God!!! When we see this (our sin in its true light)we see how much trouble we are in and we say, "Well then there's nothing I can do. I'm going to hell for sure then." It's true that there is nothing that WE can do, but there is something that has already been done for you! God sent His One and Only Son to die on a cross as a sacrifice for our sins! So to recieve that eternal sweet sweet forgiveness, all we must do is repent of our sins (meaning to continually turn from them and confess them) and trust alone in Christ as you trust a parachute. If I was to push you out of an airplane, you'd want the parachute for sure! Don't try to flap your arms and save yourself, trust in the parachute! His finished work on the Cross IS ENOUGH!! He is the only way to Heaven, He said it Himself!! These other religions teach that we must he good and do good things and then maybe if we've been good enough, we will enter Heaven. But if that is true then we are all doomed to eternal hell because none of us are good. That's why this makes sense. Look at the Ten Commandments, they are written on your heart right now!! I promise that you have violated them. And you might still be doing that today. Therefore God is just to poor out His wrath on us because we deserve it!!! But Christ died for us so that we can spend eternity in Heaven with Him! Turn to Him today, and He and only He will save your soul "Verily, verily I say unto you, you must be born again ( to go to Heaven)."✝️The true joy of Christ dwells in me!!! Does it in you? I know where I'm going when I die! Do you? I have an ETERNAL victory! Do you? I have more joy than ever because of what Christ has done. I have been down both roads. The road of the wicked and the road of Christ. Christ is way better and my cup runneth over with true joy and salvation. If you do not know the One true God and are not sure of your salvation, I promise He will never fail you. Turn to Him in repentance and faith. Repent means to confess and forsake your sins, never turning back to them. I tried changing on my own but I couldn't. It took the power of Christ on the inside of me to do it for me. He will give you a new and clean heart with new and clean desires and you shall be born again. A new creation in Christ Jesus!!! Hallelujah!!!! Jesus said in order to enter the Kingdom of God, you must be born again!! Thank you Lord Jesus!✝️

So let me get this straight as a fellow Christian, You have a bigger issue with me on how i asked my questions, then a concern for the Soul of the person i asked the questions to? The Bible is offensive to those who are perishing.. Id rather be "offensive" then being okay with people believing they have a relationship with Jesus when they really dont. Again, Gods word can be offensive, if it is, You should really examine why that is... Whats become clear to me, is a lot of people claim to be Christians, UNTIL it gets Biblical. My original comment with questions, was to provoke thought.. I deal with "Christians" like You all the time, always in their feelings with no genuine love for their neighbor. Hows Your comment to me helping the person i questioned? It probably makes them think its ok to have a mediator other then Christ Himself, which would suggest His death on the cross was in vein. Which is offensive to me as a true believer, so i will call that out for Jesus & for love of my neighbor. Thats why i made the comment in the first place.

Maybe you should be more careful questioning the state of someone’s eternal soul. Who here brought up Jesus’ death being in vein? You did. Humble yourself. Talk to people like they’re people. Good luck out there.

Over the past few months I've surrendered to Christ and am trying to view attractive people as made in the image of God. I failed with thoughts of my past actions again today, but I've been much better this month. Improved after the last few months. I tried to change in my own strength over the years only to fail and repeat the cycle again. My biggest fear is that I won't be able to control myself & end up drifting away from God. I hope God works in my so I become who He intended me to be.

And I pray for her and her husband (if she’s married), that they be ever more joined closer in their marriage. I also offer myself as her protector if she were suddenly in danger or in distress. Just as a brother would protect his sister and her honor. Pray for me a sinner.

THINK TWICE BEFORE DOING THIS WAY. Seems to me that this video will lead a lot of people to destruction. Did you ever walk around the street and saw a half naked woman 500 years ago? 1000,2000,4000 years ago? This is a very new challenge and what you’re saying is same as seeing a fully naked woman and saying Oh Lord thank you for this beauty…. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. Beauty that is meant to be seen by her husband only not by the whole neighbourhood. You need to change your response cause that’s not biblical. You can’t accept as beauty something you shouldn’t be seeing in first place. Yes if a woman is decent and she is beautiful to her face which is all you should be seeing as a Christian, yes then you can use that, but not on a woman with half her boobs out.. that’s ridiculous

NOPE!!! Ask your wife how she feels about you spending that much time thinking about that curvaceous woman and thanking God for her beauty and for your sexuality.... And dwelling in that moment. I get what you say about repressed emotions and feelings- but, but, as a betrayed spouse, I think that your conversation should be more about you and your relationship with God and your relationship with your wife and less about that woman that just triggered your last triggered your well exercised and well fed lust.

The more I got to know about man's deep desire the less I wish to be in a marriage. If it is so hard for men to not desire the beauty of ALL the beautiful and seductively dressed women then why do you say to your wife at home "I love you" ? At least, realize that you just can't. I have seen a very few men in my entire life who had their eyes exclusively for their wife. So very few that I question the whole christian views sometimes... men are so attracted to beauty that it seems to be much more important to them than loving the one who has sacrificed her own beauty for pregnancy and work at home... So many women suffer without love, yet they work all they like a robot to make everything done for theri husbands... You men, your lust is crime and I can"t think of as you should see heaven through the street-beauty, you should rather see hell, because that is the feeling you give to your wife at home whenever you desire someone else.

Good observation. In a practical sense, this is why more wise generations from long ago (at least 2-3 generations ago) understood two things to create this outcome of proper perception of men and women that don’t belong to you: 1) Modesty, especially in women 2) Don’t allow men and women to mingle amongst one another so much. Have clear, strong, non-negotiable boundaries that the opposite gender cannot cross over into. (Boundaries as it relates to interaction on a public AND private level) This is for the sake of purity, folks. That visceral reaction from a man when he sees an intimate aspect of a woman’s body is a GOD-ORDAINED response. This is what makes the promiscuous woman particularly nefarious - she is weaponizing an otherwise healthy God-ordained response (the man desiring the comely woman) on its head.

"I made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?" -Job 31:1 "Flee also youthful lusts:" - 2 Timothy 2:22 "And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire." -Matthew 18:9 While I can agree from a logical standpoint that some of the advice sounds "plausible." However, in reality it would most assuredly set you up for failure. While in the purist sense each of us are created in the reflection of Gods glory, and should be looked at in this light, HOWEVER, the reality is we each are flawed and would therefore be walking into a house full of gas spewing everywhere with an open torch flame in our hands! Unless the mind is thoroughly led by Christ, we would be inviting the enemy to capitalize on us. This is why Joseph, when confronted with a situation closely related in nature said, "There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?" (Genesis 39:9) The end result? Joseph LITERALLY fled the situation! While at it's premise it sounds good, we would be openly inviting sin to us. The times that we live in, many have been given the green light to "dress as they please." And at its roots, they are desperately seeking attention. While I am not 100% discarding or disregarding the premise that Christ can do this in a soul who is fully surrendered and submitted to Him, what I am HIGHLY cautioning is that we could be causing the individual to sin by our "pure gaze of admiration for Gods creation." The reason being is that they could see it as the green light to continue dress or presenting themselves this way as you have given them the attention seeking validation they were looking for. For the sake of your soul, as well as theirs, I would encourage you to follow Joseph, Job, Paul, and the Christ's advice and LOOK AWAY! Pray for the individual as well as yourself! Don't end up like David with Bathsheba! For I am sure he was just "admiring the beauty of Gods creation in the female body," when he slept with another mans wife and had poor Uriah killed to cover his deed. God bless.

Yes we must flee from sexual immorality but we must also surrender it to Jesus. I genuinely believe that prayer and fasting can be beneficial for one. I like the 3rd option of recognizing the appreciation for God's creative beauty of women. However, you can quickly circumvent the feelings of shame for lust by simply recognizing and thanking the Lord for making you a custodian for women's safety, respect and care. After all, we are first their brothers and or fathers (if women are much younger that's how I see myself). Marriage brings a different kind of bound between a man and a women. The question is always "What would Jesus do in this situation?" He said "Love one another like I loved you". The caring Love, not lust. Step into Jesus' shoes.

Wasn’t there someone who said (Joseph?) that he made a covenant with his eyes. It’s definitely better to just look away. It’s not a negative form of anything. We are specifically told not to fight lust. The only sin we are told not to fight. We are to run from it. Flee at all cost. Don’t wrestle with it and try to control it. Just drop everything and run just like Joseph did. If I remember correctly he *literally* dropped everything and ran. His belongings were left as he fled from the woman and it was used against him as evidence. So there is no negative purity, or whatever he said, from choosing to look away. Sometimes we think we are strong enough to see things and stand our ground. Trust me, if you play with fire, you’ll eventually get burned.

I do not think your example is very didactical. Looking away will help you for sure, this is foolproof. But having an extemporaneous prayer every time you see a lady seems to me like it will just invite you to obsess more and more about your attraction, to me at least the more you think about forgetting something the harder it is to forget. If this is not what you meant maybe your example was not very clear and should be more direct. I get the message of trying to look at women as people, I think a lot of young men struggle with that. But when people these days dress as if they were not, then it's harder to take them seriously. Look away boys!

Yeah, I don't see how looking away is negative. Some women truly disrespects themselves by clothing very unmodest. Remember, first time you look, it's out of your control. Second look is your choice. Simply don't do that. It's not like lustful thoughts will overcome you. Trying to remember prayer at this time... not very effective? I would instead thank the Lord for this woman being beautiful and move forward. And in the moment of lust, focus on this moment and ask Jesus for grace on this very moment. This method works wonders. Typical "Catholic teaching": If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, then baffle them with B.S. In other words, give the congregation something that is so complicated, & nuanced that people spend all the time they give to God in trying to sort out & figure out what you meant. Truth is, if you don't want to look lustfully at others, because God commanded us NOT to, except for our spouse (this applies also to women lusting), then don't look at them, PERIOD! If you pray & ask God to help you with this He will, He doesn't want you to sin remember? The longer you practice doing this, the easier it gets, but be prepared to be insulted, men, because a LOT of women get angry when they have no power to manipulate you, or you don't pump up their ego for them.

While I agree with most of the advice provided here, there is also some dangerous advice propsed as well. We are to look at all women as daughters created in God's image. To see her as how God created her and He loves her. However a sufficient disclaimer is not made here which should be. Some women are so immodestly dressed that most normal men would put themselves in a serious ocassion of sin by gazing at them for a prolonged period. Unless you know you are an extraordinary man, to throw yourself into these very near ocassions of sin and presume everything will work out is prideful. You must care about your soul first because no one else will do it for you and it is better to presume you are an ordinary man than one that has been given a special grace. To look at a women who has hardly any clothes on in order to take the time to admire her dignity is a fools errand. If a woman doesnt even respect herself to wear appropriate clothing there is not much you can do for her. God doesn't ask us to put ourselves in dangerous situations so we can grow in virtue.

First thing you need to do is either start attending meetings (like Celebrate Recovery), or get a legitimate, mature Christian accountability partner. You need to confess and be held accountable for your sin. 2) Abstinence. This goes without saying, but the longer you go without feeding your mind's eye sexual images, the easier it becomes to push these thoughts aside. You need positive momentum. 3) ZERO tolerance policy on sexual images. For me, that's any form of female nudity, near-nudity, or sexually-charged content. Sometimes you might get blindsided, but never hunt for it and never allow it willingly. If it will lead you to sin, it is sin. 4) Managing your thought/fantasy life. The further you get away from pornographic content, the easier it will get to manage your thought life. Fantasies are the next closest thing to porn. Push them aside immediately, ask God to help you see her as He sees her and, and to see this sin as He sees it. 5) Prayer. When you feel tempted, ask God to convert this temptation to grace to help 100 other men who are about to commit the same sin. Pray daily for renewed eyes and the self-control to DENY your distorted bodily desires and walk righteously. Remember, there is a big element of denying your self and picking up your cross here. That's another way of saying it's hard, but you will be rewarded with peace. All the cold showers and push ups in the world wont help you overcome lust. It is BOTH you and God. You cannot do this alone, but you also must sacrifice. He is asking you to give up this idol for Him. Be patient, it takes time. But trust me, it's worth it.

Can’t you just realize that there’s more to people than what you see of their flesh? Maybe realize men are also attractive, not meaning men should be attracted to men - but look at people as people. Quit focusing on people’s flesh so much. Also, maybe you could try to imagine what that person will look like when they are 70 years old? When I see guys that I think are very attractive, I start to really analyze what they say and do instead of being captivated by their looks. Once I learn more about them the lust has less power yo entice. Maybe, also realize, if a woman is attractive AND dressed provocatively, then she is trying to be seductive. Proverbs says she will lead you on a straight path to hell ( if you fall for her seduction). Jesus said if your right eye offends you, pluck it out and throw it away. Maybe you could do that? Get an eye patch? Stop looking at people and start listening to them instead. Be more discerning. The pure in heart shall see God.

Man you seriously need to rethink how you're teaching this. You're making it sound like it's ok to lust over the woman but I've got Jesus so it's ok I'm good. Look at that woman like your sister in Christ.

Very insightful, and I could totally relate to the challenge that we men face...especially in our "bare it all" world. Two additional aids that have helped me over the last decade: 1.) Pray for the needs and intentions of the gal who is a temptation; and 2.) pray a Hail Mary. The latter serves to throw sand in satan's face, and the more sand you throw his way, the less likely he is to send temptation your way.

"Pray for the needs and intentions of the gal who is a temptation." That sounds like a fine idea to me. In a way, I'm actually kind of disappointed in myself for never even having considered doing that before. I guess what is written in Proverbs shows to be true, "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another". Thanks for the idea. 👍

This is good advice for those that are "looking"... any advice for a women that has ampleness that might help us stop hating how God himself made us?.. I often feel guilty for what God gave me at birth. And no I fully embrace modesty dress, but that doesn't make my body change or unnoticeable. It's like feeling guilty because my eyes are blue. I struggle with this thinking and find myself remember that God doesn't make mistakes. I wish we could just live and love without all this twisted views.

It surprises me that so many Christian men seem to have a problem with lusting after beautiful things and people. If they actually allow the Holy Spirit within them the jurisdiction they SAY they do, they won't be able to do anything BUT see beauty the way God intended.

Option 2 has worked very well for me for many years. Though option 3 is preferable. Job 31:1. I made a covenant with my eyes. Proverbs 5:19 I find helpful too. Every women is someone’s daughter. I have a daughter I certainly wouldn’t want any man looking at her in a unholy manner. Therefore what right do I have to do the same. “Do unto others as you would have them to unto you”, If I don’t then I am breaking the 2nd Greatest Commandment. We have to be ruthless with temptation. I see all women as my sister in Christ. None of them am I in one flesh with as described Gen 2:24. The Hot chocolate song “It started with a kiss, never thought it would come to this” well with Kind David it started with just a look, and we all know that turned out with Bathsheba. King Solomon also succumbed to the charms of the Queen of Sheba, if he as the wisest King of Israel fell, then the likes of us who are less wise, need to treble down.

I agree wid ur point bro, but not every girl is a sister in Christ remember, so even the stranger women that attractive to u, just see them as God's creation first unless u realise there Chrsitian ,then you can see them as a daughter of God and that brings even more conviction to u to not see them in that impure way

"If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me" Psalm 66:18 "But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery (or fornication) with her already in his heart. And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. Matthew 5:28-30 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 1 Corinthians 6:18 We, as a born again christians, have a battle within ourselves between the flesh and the Spirit, that means that we have desires in conflict, for the flesh really wants to fornicate (among other things, see Galatians 5:16-24) so the thing here is to avoid the occasion, guard your eyes, and abstain from the desires of the flesh that battle against our soul. (1 Peter 2:11). Now, if there is an almost naked person just in front of you that most likely will arise you if you look at her, why look at her? just recognize that King Salomon, King David and Samson fell into that sin, are you wiser or stronger than them? just guard your eyes and flee, as you dont want to give an opportunity to your flesh to make you sin against God. See the example of Joseph with Potifar's wife.

None of these make any difference and there is no third option, you are twisting it all... at "that moment", THE ONLY correct action is to look away, end of story. Fasting and praying and remembering God, etc... all of that is secondary, before or after... right at that moment you simply look away and make sure the first eye contact that happened accidentally is not repeated. We are humans, no matter how much willpower you have, still it is the best way to look away, you set an example for other younger men as well by doing so. In fact you develop willpower by such seemingly easy things like controlling you eyes, internally and externally. Mental Adultery is serious, Satan can get leverage on that and right when you are with your own wife, if a image of that woman you saw earlier come to your mind, Satan will have a share of your future child if it is conceived like that. In Islam one of the strategic goals of Satan is to hijack your progeny and bloodline, in fact the reason Jesus ع had no father and his Mother was virgin Mary س has to do with the fact that Satan has been planning to kill the pure progeny. At the time Satan was focusing on prophet Yahya ع same timeline as Jesus س, he did not expect there would be son from Mary. And you need to seriously find a solution for believing that Jesus ع is both Son of God and Son of Man at the same time.

Dear friends(women & men), you can not deny the attractiveness of the opposite sex. God made us to be attractive to one another, but that's not the whole story. The physical attractiveness is to put that person on your radar. If you both like what you see in each other, then you table that for now and see if you actually like being around each other and have things in common. You follow this path until you both ask the question. Do I want to be with this person no matter what(this is the sickness and health, richer or poorer part of the relationship) this is all really simplified here, but we were never meant to jump into bed with every person that looked good to us, trying them on for size. When a man took a woman to his bed originally, that made her his wife and he her husband.. it was serious stuff...! If a man did back then what guys do now, sleep with her and actually get up and go their separate ways. That woman's men folk would find him,, drag him back to her and if he still acted like the dog he was,, he'd get a bullet for his disrespect to their kin. We have gone so far away from what God wants and had in mind for us when he made Adam an Eve that I don't know how we can get back to God's original purpose for us other than tell everyone , first and foremost we need to turn to God and his Son our Lord and Savior Jesus, The Christ. The love and happiness we seek and desire begins and ends in heaven. How can you truly have love when you are not one with the God of Love, The God that is love. Without God in our lives/relationships all we really have is lust. Think about it. You meet a girl on Friday, sleep with her on Saturday and she tells you and you tell her you love each other on Sunday. Come on now, who's fooling who?! Love, real love does not work that way. That guy you told you loved on Sunday, break up with him on the following Friday and you'll have to get a restraining order on him by the following Monday. Now is that love? If you do not know that it is not...? Then you do not know what love is!!
