Best videos of the year, the calf's being the stars. Just to watch them learn the assembly line feeding, I can't even imagine what they are thinking, at this time, but it is fun to watch......I could watch for days......btim sw

The black teats always last longer. If you use milk bars use the non threaded teats easier to pull through

So why would it be a good reason to keep giving them milk after 6-8 weeks old
@troytyrrell43332 ай бұрын
We feed milk for 12 weeks 5-6l a day you get better calves bigger calves turn into more profitable cows worth the extra milk
@Lockboyz9102 ай бұрын
If you got 2-3 different food choices why still give them milk they only get so fast on milk but more creep-feed they grow twice as fast you could cut the milk out
@karlmorgan36782 ай бұрын
There just babies, you don't stop giving children milk once they start on solids so you treat the calves the same way Solids and milk until they get to the right weight
@louiserenton93802 ай бұрын
Because they aren’t old enough to be weaned. They need milk.
@TheOnceADayFarmer2 ай бұрын
They still need it for helping them grow especially calcium for bone growth. Rule of thumb is to wean off milk once they get to around 100kg liveweight. The hays to help with they’re rumen development and grain to help growth too
