Hi Alison, Speaking of inexpensive violins, I purchased a new, cheap $30 Crescent 4/4 student violin on Amazon over six years ago! The bridge came sanded, and has a nice curvature to it. The violin still has all of its original parts, including the same steel strings which I haven’t had to replace...yet. I enjoy playing this cheap violin on average of three to four days a week for a couple of hours a day. And, believe it or not, it stays in tune. Very rarely do I need retune it. 😊🎻🎶

Hi! On the 2nd. Finger Exercises. Measure 3. Do we use theG string to play the A with our 2nd finger? It seems easier to play the first finger instead of the 2nd.

the violin shakes when i do vibrato with the 4th finger but with the other 3 finger does not move
