Rory was forced to try to make his chip on 18th 72nd hole. He almost hit the pin and blew it by. Missed his birdie putt and pared the hole. Had he not been forced to try to make it it would have been an easy birdie and he would have Finnish tied for second with cam.

I was in the middle of moving from California to Ohio while this was being played, but I still marveled at the scores being shot. I wonder how much temperature affects your results. I noticed that when you recorded your intro, it was cold enough to see your breath. Cold = denser air = shorter ball flight, and colder temps also make your golf balls a little stiffer, which also shortens ball flight.

A Classic, an all-time modern Major greatest ever final round back nines (noway! what about Jack in 86 or Schwarzl).. Aussies dont 'Root for a person..'(has entirely different meaning here) but we knew that Smith behind by 4 on the scoreboard was capable..and that the two Cameron's being grouped together seemed to create an incredible energy.. the golf they both played was in opposition to the two behind, McIlroy, with a four stroke lead.. bogged down, demand from the crowd, he looked like he was going to spew his guts up every time he missed another putt.. felt for him.. it's like he's the great Open hope.. they're obsessed, everyone gets revved up..he suffers for the Americans going into a US Open it's probably 5 or 10 who get the same amount of headlines..whereas when it's the Open everything over there is Rory mania.. leave him be.. golf's incredible with all the outcomes climaxing the way today they did..thank you to all

1 Major= $150M from LIV, Rahm 2 Majors=$600M, Rory 4 Majors= LOSER! Golf has turned into the WWE. Actually playing the best, and beating the best, is no longer important. The money is the only thing that is important. Tiger's 15 Majors and Jack's 18 are pretty much worthless, except for what they created with those that actually know real competition, and what it meant to achieve like that. I'm pretty sure Scottie can get $1B if he wins another Major this year from LIV. And the beat goes on. And they are 'miserable'.
