Yet another great Open, so glad I went and saw the drama unfold. And to see the great Tom Watson bow out was fantastic.

It was a real Shame Tom Watson finished his round in the dark... His record in the event over the previous 40 years deserved much more...

I'll always remember watching Paul Dunne walk down the fairway on 17/18 and hearing some bloke from the crowd belt out "GO ON PAUL YA FUCKIN' LAD". Had me in stitches. Been calling my friends lads randomly ever since.

Absolutely great to see that reception for Watson on his Open farewell, but why didn’t you show Faldo? The guy won three Opens, and bowed out by birdying the road hole too!!!

Sad to see that the thumbnail isn't even the person who won. ZJ earns that respect. Otherwise great video.

I was about to say the whole deal with the open that particular year was that spieth didn't win it to extend the streak after DJ basically handed him the US Open

There's so much to remember from this one, but I'll remember it for the amateurs. I keep thinking that with the global expansion of the game and the tremendous prizepools on offer in the big games, there's just too much of an incentive to turn pro nowadays and we'll never see amateurs make legit runs at winning the big ones again (the US PGA Tour not seeing any amateurs win since Phil Mickelson in 1991 attests to that.) But this one was a REAL breath of fresh air. Jordan Spieth addressed his virtual playing of the Old Course; maybe that has something to do with it, but you still can't BS your way around an Open venue, they all had the talent.

Really good film of a brilliant Open, that brought back some fantastic memories. However, the filter used in the interviews was really off putting. Appears like it they were AI generated.
