How about a sermon on the fact that the Earth does not move... 1 Chronicles 16:30 "...tremble before Him, all the earth. The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved. Tbh I always thought this theory was ludicrous, but the more I realize that pretty much everything we've been taught by modern academia is misdirection and just flat out lies, I've started to explore this idea a bit more without bias and have surprisingly found alot of compelling evidence in support of it when searching outside of mainstream sources. I've also found that if the government and their media make a solid effort to make the public think a certain way about a topic, they're usually invested in some way and have a reason to do so. If I search up a certain conspiracy and the first thing that pops up is Wikipedia citing it as "misinformation", a "conspiracy theory" or CNN and other MSM sources "debunking" it, I find that suspicious, and evidence in itself. Especially now that we know that the media from every angle has been weaponized against average citizens its made me alot more open minded about certain ideas and so called conspiracies. So I guess my advice to anyone reading this is to never completely write something off as fantasy or false info before taking the time to do your own research outside of government funded/ incetivized media/corporations.

It is not referring to the mechanics of the universe, nor is it referring to the contemplation of contending models. As stated in Genesis 1:6, God separated the waters above from the waters below. Think about where that puts someone on 'Earth' (which is just another word for 'land' or 'dirt', by the way) What do you think is beyond the surface of the waters 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙫𝙚? Or do you already know? The firmament below is the ocean floor. The firmament above is where the atmosphere dissipates and there is a soft glow. Flat earth people think the sun and moon are inside this dome but that would mean either Mercury and Venus are inside or they don't exist, along with the other planets. If there are other galaxies and solar systems like the milky way then there being a firmament at that edge may make more sense. What could also make sense is a firmament being a dimension rather than a physical location.

I was raised an atheist but I had a near death experience once and when I passed I thought I was in space but now I think about it I was probably still on earth but had No eyes to see.. Meaning that space IS water, not some empty void as we’ve been lead to believe the lies of nasa and out world governments... M. Clark it didn’t take long for me to discern the flat earth firmament truth but still I kinda struggled to explain this to other believers tho scripture clearly points to a firmament concept. Mainly I couldn’t explain how the sun is on one side making day and the moon on the other making night. I mean logically I know that we’ve never been to outer space or the moon(or we would’ve been there multiple times after the first alleged visit) and I know the earth isn’t spinning at some unseeable speed when scripture clearly says the earth can’t be moved. First, google images of earth from space... Why is it that EVERY picture you find of the earth has continents that are proportional different... Why are there no space images of earth from the other countries which have supposedly gone to space as well, such as China or Russia...? Stars are everywhere in the night sky, so why none in the back grounds of any images of earth...? Here’s another caveat: why are most images of earth a computer composite, meaning, a computer generated image...? Which is short for CGI, which is used to also make movie magic... So, do we really know the size, the true size of the earth...? Could the earth be indeed larger or smaller than what we have been told...? God says that we can’t know the true size of the earth, He Himself asks who has laid a measuring line upon it... You asked how to best explain the concept of the firmament and how the sun could be on one side of the earth and it’s light not be seen on the other... The Bible describes the firmament as a molten metal mirror: (Job 37: 18), Therefore, being a creation of God, we can not shatter it and go through it... The other side of it would be his “outer space” which we all think we’ve been to... But, the Bible says that on the other side of the firmament is water: water above the firmament and water below it... (Genesis 1: 6- 8) This is where the saying, “shatter the glass ceiling” comes from... Hillary said that a lot during her presidential campaign which she lost to Trump... It appears the word Firmament may have been mis translated. There is evidence that in the original Hebrew languages that Firmament actually means expanse. This would coincide more with the expanse of light and love that God actually is. Not sure God is about any kind of barrier or restriction from any kind of experience. Religious theology attempts at explanation of the Creator more and more look like a way to put a barrier around mankind and restrict it in a controlled manner. Not accurate. The firmament in Genesis was air space in that context. Air space separates the water on the earth from the water above the earth. Genesis 1:6-7 are describing an earth surrounded by a water canopy (which by the way made for a uniform perfect temperature around the entire earth in the beginning). The precipitation from this water canopy falling down to earth is what caused the great flood in Noah's time. Without that water canopy now above us, the earth is now subject to hot and cold at extremes. It is also subject to harmful rays from the sun and universe. That's why climate change exists. The 100 pound ice balls of hail in Revelation are something entirely different. They are the last plague to strike the earth before Jesus actually sets his feet back down on the Mount of Olives. The hail is designed to smash all statues and idols of foreign gods to pieces so that there are no more idols once Christ arrives. So that means pyramids, sphynx, temples, etc. anything that was built by man to represent a foreign god will be crushed.

@@grcleve7053 Yes agreed it was a world wide flood and the earth did contribute to the event, however the boundaries were already set for the seas by God on the third day of creation. Therefore the additional water had to come from the canopy of water surrounding the heaven space above the earth. The Windows of Heaven were opened means that the water canopy that surrounded the earth began to fall on the earth in the form of rain. It rained for 40 days, so that means there had to be sufficient water above in order for that to happen. But the water kept rising for another 110 days and on the 150th day it crested. That indicates that the gushing pillars of water from beneath also played a role. Then notice that God took action and set boundaries again, new boundaries for the level of water that was on the earth. I believe that mountains were lifted up and the crust was also enhanced by God so that dry land could re-appear again given the amount of water now on the earth. Evaporation would not have made dry land again so quickly, it had to be supernatural. I'll check out those references you cited. I think it is clear that our current environment on the planet is not the original design that God had for us in the beginning. That is why people after the flood also did not live to be 900+ years old. Instead we see a rapid decline in the age of man post flood.
