I like to make a little chart -sinx cosx 1/sinx -1/sinx cosx/sinx 1/cosx 1/cosx sinx/cosx That makes it super easy to remember the derivatives of trig functions. remember the top (-sin cos) then just remember the other lines as 1 over sin, -1 over sin and cos over sin. and that tells you all the derivatives with sin on the bottom. (sin^2 x = cot x, csc x = -csc x cot x and cot x = -csc^2 x). And the same goes for the functions with cos on the bottom as you can see.
