What is dx for? Why? Why is it always at the end of the notation? It stands for derivative of x, right? So X is a derivative? Is there a video for the notation, and the difference between definite and indefinite integrals? Without that, I'm going to be stumped for most of the time.

WOW! I learned how to use U substitution in engineering school 13 years ago, but I didn't really understand the "why" of it until watching this! I had forgotten how to do it, but that's just because I didn't understand the principal, and was operating on rote memory.

I watch this method a lot, first, I watched it for Calculus II in Nov. 2019, then I watch it to revise Calculus II material for Calculus III in Jan.2022. " There was a long video that contain many methods". And now I am watching it at speed of x1.5 to review this method for MATH 333 - Methods of Applied Mathematics I , the last math course for a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at KFUPM.
