Honestly I don’t get why you guys are so focus on why they can’t turn . They still have their speed and strength in human form which is far better than vampire diaries or originals. Yes they can’t turn at will , but who would want to ? They can show their fangs and bite if they need to . Also Klaus spend years trying to become a hybrid but not once have we seen his wolf .

It's because in this universe, the werewolves are just enhanced humans until the full moon, so they are very different from werewolves from like Teen Wolf who are able to control their shifts and power.

Jonny The Badman Wannabe I know they are different, and that’s the point, the teen wolf idea was infinitely better, only this show has advanced shape shifting. The werewolves were supposed to be threats to our vampire main characters at one point, and if they were capable of activating their abilities at one point, they *would* be an actual threat. But the show decided to make them so limited, it’s bs. Forget the vampire’s weakness to sunlight, the werewolves can’t do anything except for one day per month.

Jonny The Badman Wannabe it’s even worse, cause later after their introduction, their so hyped-up wolf form was beaten around by a vamp. And the fights in human form? You wouldn’t differentiate between a human fight and a Vampire Diaries Werewolf fight, with teen wolf, stone and bone gets shattered, feats that would be challenging to humans are done in succession without visible strain or exhaustion. You can tell, this is a supernatural fight. With these, it’s just humans punching each other, with barely a second of eye glow at the beginning.

Since she's a tribrid, and inherited her father's, and mother's werewolf genes she's like the supreme alpha of the school's pack, and it's pack is run by their Alpha, and Hope's subservient commander of the pack. The many werewolf pack Alphas are Hope's subservient commanders, with her as THE Head Alpha.

It’s a true shame they let Raphael’s character go to waste. He was probably the biggest werewolf in the world of TVD, The Originals and Legacies. The way they exited him, from a potential protagonist power house to being forgotten and giving him such a crappy good bye was trash Knowing that he’s part of King Arthur’s Pendragons bloodline would of been excellent to use and explore making him probably much powerful of a wolf than Klaus and Hope respectively. It’s is truly such a fcking shame. Legacies was great concept and Julie just didn’t know how to keep it cohesive and good.

luce - I feel like the werewolves of this show are too limited. At least teen wolf gave them the eyes and fangs and claws, even without fully shifting. It allowed us to see that even though the teen wolf budget couldn’t afford for them to fully shift anymore like in the earlier seasons, it was *still* a supernatural fight. All we got was glowing eyes, that don’t even glow later in the same fight. You’re right, when I think werewolf fights, I think at least some growls and clawing, not just punching each other like normal dudes with contact lenses.

@@ex5m yes, but we only saw that once didn’t we? We know he has the ability to fully shift, we also know the show don’t have the budget. And yes, I was talking generally. (P.S: at this point, I’m done talking to you, the rest of the comment should be separate, I’m just too lazy to make a separate general reply.) And to further expand, I also meant the humanoid shift, in the later seasons they just had the werewolves glow their eyes and sprout fangs and claws rather than fully shift. Yet you could still see that the fight was supernatural, at one point, they even obliterated a thick stone wall in one of their fights. Here, they’re just normal dudes, the eye glow doesn’t even last the entire fight either.

What are u guys talking about this ain't teen wolf with different color eyes depending on ur position in the pack it only goes down to who's the most dominant person in the pack and probably a little more stronger than the rest cause most of them maybe equal in strength but not all werewolves have the same strength like some might be a little weaker or like Raf and Tyler or Klaus some might be stronger bc of the kind of rage they have inside their not regular werewolf all werewolves have a temper but there are others wolves who rages out really easily like Raf Klaus and Tyler those the other wolves who's uncontrollable rage actually makes them stronger like it did in this video and also like how Klaus kill 12 of Marcel vampires in 30sec out of his rage which made him stronger Elijah kol Rebekah Finn and Michael yes thats right he was also stronger than Michael as well he only never show it much bc he still feared Michael
