It makes me wonder too how this show fits into the larger New Republic era story. I know they’ve been doing a lot of setting up Palpatine stuff like with the Mandalorian and Bad Batch. What I want to see is a New Republic show and an animated show. Let’s really explore this era and tell hero stories. Before the dark times, before the Sequels, when our heroes were deadbeats, failures, and cynics. I know they’re starting that with the new comic books. I want to see it on screen though.

It doesn't matter if this show is good or not, Disney already ruined the franchise. Anything that happens before and after the original 6 movies is unwatchable (plus the Solo movie).

Strong disagee, it's a culture and not a franchise, it's going to take 'way' more than a few bad eggs to ruin it. This show is good so far, and that matters to the real fans.

@@MagnusSohlberg The only way they can save the franchise is if they completely retcon the sequel trilogy, but that's never going to happen. So, everything after epi 6 will lead to the shitty writing that is epi 7-9. Now why would I want that sort of continuity?

@@eligeorge1390 I don't get your point. Well for me, I did enjoy watching bits of The Mandalorian S3 and Ahsoka, enjoyed watching Tales of the Jedi, and am now actually enjoying watching everything about this new Skeleton Crew show.
