I would love to see a theory video about bag pockets. Not just a baggy mid high pocket, but straight up grocery bags.

I'm glad someone is asking/answering these questions cause tbh which side of the mesh frustrates me way too much. Btw, you should do an in depth stringing tutorial for 6D mid pockets. Us Defensemen will thank you.

We can maybe see about doing a video like that! 6D is starting to become a little more popular these days

In my experience the smooth side is woven so that the mesh naturally curls that way like you showed in the video. If you string the smooth side in then it is easier for the mesh to curl around the ball in different places and harder for it to do so if you put the rough side in. If you want your pocket to be very shifty then using the smooth side can help and if you want it to be defined then the rough side will limit the shifting of the mesh away from where you intended the pocket to be.

Since we are in mid season, I feel like a good video would be how to keep you stick/head/mesh/stringing fresh and ready for the next game.

Good video. As far as theory to support the rough side on the ball side - the rougher the surface, the less the ball is going to slip coming off the mesh and the more backspin will be placed on the ball (backspin = good for both speed and accuracy - think of a fastball in baseball vs. a knuckleball for the extreme examples of lots of backspin vs. no backspin). This is the same reason old greaser balls don't throw as well as new grippy balls. Just like you want a grippy ball and not a smooth one, you want a grippy pocket and not a smooth one.

really struggling to figure out a setup that really works for me, could you do a video in how to decide stick and customization of the stick to make it personal, for example things like shooter settups, stacked shooters, different pockets, shooters on 9 diamond or 10 diamond rows etc, maybe you could use pro pockets and explain the pros and cons of the pockets and how they would suit certain players, or even allow for people to write in looking for advice on what stick to get with which settup depending on their playing style, position etc.. Thanks, love the videos.

What plastic works best for dying. I've had a problem with a nike vapor where the head didn't have a solid color on it. I think it was because of a coating... Size of a player and how it matters with their position in terms of strength, height, and skills.
