Been using Armor Mesh on my son's sticks for about a year now. That, on an Ion, has been his go-to combo. For that, he likes the feel with the "channel knots" on the inside. Creates a bit more of a channeled feel. We did the "smooth" side on a Mirage 2.0 Graphene. A bit less whip there, but still the shifty-ness of an Armor Mesh pocket. Makes for a good combo for clearing passes, in our experience. One thing we have found recently is the pocket seems to have shrunk up a little, the ball is now a bit higher up. But I also have photos of game action, and you can really see how that pocket stretches out, putting the ball way out from the bottom rail. It's pretty wild how that Armor Mesh shifts and flows, and is pretty much game-ready after stringing it up.

​@keithtett just happen to have an Ion with Armon Mesh right here. Top string starts on side hole 2, and catches each "channel" of the AM, with a double twist spanning the middle. Side wall starts one string down the AM on hole 3, with a knot in every side wall except 8, 10, 16, 18. The AM is three strings each. So knot, three string, knot, three strings, etc. Bottom string ends up on the second to last AM row, simple U from bottom 1 to 4. No shooters needed.
