I really wasn't expecting this show to be as relatable as it was as I went in completely blind. Like you I grew up in a very rural area and then moved to a more built up one. I remember adapting to changes being very difficult. I remember that I couldn't even ride a bike, I guess up until that point I never had a reason to learn. It was kind of freaky when they brought up the bike in Hilda, brought back a lot of memories of my childhood and a lot of other stuff I haven't thought about in years. Anyway good video, I'll check out some of your others.

Hilda definitely surprised me in that regard, I didn't expect to connect with the show or characters quite as much as I did! Moving was pretty difficult, and took some time to adapt to a new environment. Thanks for watching!

This Cartoon reminds me a lot of Saturday Morning Cartoons of the early 2,000 for some reason. Maybe it's the well though out story and consistent pace. @@TheoryPop

Ok I’ll give you the reasons. Same height Same age Same hobbies same fear (bikes but she overcame it) Names both start with H and end with “ah” sound Same gender Moved to school at same age Parents are not together Same sense of style Same questions (why on earth does Oliver need to buy 26 apples?) Both like to wear berets Both carry around a satchel-like purse THE SHOW WAS RELEASED ON MY BIRTHDAY 🤨

Haveing Hilda moving to Trollberg was a smart move. It showed of what was so special of the wilderness for hilda by takeing it away. And of cause the other reasons you see in the other comments. And moving someplace new

Well I never lived in a rural area, but the whole moving houses thing was pretty relatable to me. I remember having a grudge against my parents when they forced me to move to a different school and I had a hard time making new friends, but eventually everything went better over time.

There’s a surprising amount of relatable events and themes in Hilda, considering the semi-fantastical nature of the show! Moving house to a new town or city can be a big challenge and change for people, especially children, and I loved how the show handled that event for Hilda and her mum. Glad things got better for you!

I was not in the scouts, but I was in the FFA and went to a forestry/wildlife summer camp in high school so I can relate to Hilda some there, and I can relate some to Joanna by not geting the job/carrer I wanted because of circumstances out of my control. Also I can tell you that erning metals and badges is cool, is overrated to doing what's right and she is upholding her oath.

Well how the good folks of Trollburge come aware of these creatures is that it probably be on an active ley-line. P.S do you think morazan similar to Grendel's and why do you think Judith was living out in the forest in the first place?
@TheoryPop6 жыл бұрын
Trolberg seems like it was definitely built in an area of high activity. It used to be troll country, before the city was built, so seems possible!

He is one of my favourite characters. I had never actually heard of the mythology but when I watched that episode I looked it up. I used to own pet rats so I love the idea they could all join tails and become a giant being. 😁 I also used to go to my rats whenever I was feeling sad. They would touch noses with me and I'd tell them my problems, so it seems pretty realistic they'd have a lot of secrets to tell. They also used to put their nose in your ear as if they were trying to whisper something back to you. ❤️
