They would've stayed inside Jupiter, a planet similar to their homeworld, if not for the fact that they felt the quantum brainwaves of humans who started evolving into Innovators. Their assimilation, while you might see it as hostile, it was their only way of comprehending and understanding others, by taking it into themselves, they become one with it. It was only until Setsuna successfully made a dialogue with them that they finally understood and communicated.

For the most part, yes. Kenji Kawai is a master, and he also scored Ultraman Nexus prior to Gundam 00. Should listen to Nexus' OST volume 1. It's on KZbin.

Mostly, yes. Unicorn, Thunderbolt, Hathaway's Flash, Wing, Turn A, SEED series, Build Fighters/Divers series, Iron-Blooded Orphans and Witch from Mercury are certified banger OST holders.
