Why are people so dumb... Tanjiro has NO relation to any of the Tsugikuni. Yoriichi saved Tanjiros ancestors and was aquainted with them, they respected him and in return before leaving them, he gave them the hanafuda earrings as well as teaching them "The dance of the fire god". After Yoriichi died of old age, Muzan wanted to kill the Kamados because they possesed the knowledge of that dance which they passed on from generation to generation for it to one day be used against Muzan. Only descendant from the Tsugikuni is Muichiro, which is the descendant of Kokushibo (Michikatsu Tsugikuni).

I love these reactions, but what kills me is they pay no attention to the lore. Every reactor said the same thing, isn't that the same guy? No kokushibo is Yoriichis brother. Hints why they have the same hair and appearance. Kokushibo became a demon after he learned that doing breathing styles ultimately shortens your life. He ultimately feared death and also wanted to be strong enough to defeat his brother, which he could never compare to Yoriichi because of Yoriichis power. That's why kokushibo became a demon. @@Its-JustMari you right I for some reason thought that the flashback ancestor was like yoriichi’s son in law or something. It’s very weird to have them have practically the same demon slayer mark and not be related imo.
