To survive, to stay alive is a good goal. Life can be devastating in so many different ways and there are times when one may say “ this feels like too much to handle “. I’ve found, to firmly decide to work on living through things, no matter what...helps create more opportunities to get through whatever unbearable thing may happen. Prayer and gratefulness for even the smallest things, does help with that goal. 😁🙏🏽 Love your commentary Theo and I hope you won’t be too hard on yourself. We all have different gifts and feeling is one of them...we are all individuals and there’s nothing wrong with that.

Completely understand where you’re coming from with your mom, it’s 100% the same for me with my dad. It’s definitely difficult when like you said you know with the way they were raised they didn’t learn how to express emotion and we try not to hold that against them but it does definitely effect in a way my own emotional distance.
