HUGE PROPS to Border Patrol Agents- My family crosses San Ysidro/San Diego often, as we have una Casa de playa @K74, La Salina. Many of us feel safer in Baja than in the US these days. Most every Agent I have encountered is Respectful & Professional. I love Mexico as a place, as a culture and as a people.-thanks for keeping us safe on both sides of the border.

Once I got my stuff together, what do ya know, it’s been 11 years and not a single negative interaction with a single cop. I agree this is what the news needs for sure! I wouldn’t say no bias, everyone has a bias and this guys experiences have obviously shaped his view on stuff. That being said he seemed genuinely empathetic and understood “the other side” at a very human level.

@I'll be banned soon you don’t think a border patrol agent has any vested interest or bias in how the border is perceived and funded? Sometimes you need to think a little more critically on things that you agree on. I’m sure you agree with this person, and I’m sure he’s not completely talking bullshit, but I think it’s always a good practice to ask if someone has an interest in thinking the way that they do.

This was such a great interview. It was very enlightening. We need more people like Roy in Congress. He knows what's needed to help better protect America. I love that Theo took the time to learn about everything that goes into protecting our border.

This is one of my favorite interviews so far. To mirror some of the other comments, this is seriously better than any biased Vice or 60 minutes interview. It really shows how horrible the border patrol agents were represented by main stream media. This is the new news… actually talk to the people, hear their side, ask normal questions, see what they are dealing with and what struggles they have. Much appreciated, Theo!! Gang

Just the infrastructure from having to build the wall alone helps the border patrol in ways I never thought of before. Good roads, power, internet, the strength of the boarder patrol improved drastically. This guy was so understandable and refreshing from what we see every day in the media.

I have never heard of such thing as renting a kid/family member before. In essence the media is somewhat condoning child abuse by catering only to the superficial/empathetic aspect of the scenario. They love being the heroes to these "innocent kids" and have blinded themselves from the truth and the TDS doesn't help either.

I’m 21 years old and people my age don’t have a voice because people think we’re all dumb, just because we’re generation Z and/or millennials.
