I’ve lived in Australia since 2004 and I’ve always wondered why no one has touched upon this side of comedy on Australian tv until Chris came along and made it globally known, i mean when you get into the gritty true characters that you find in the middle and poor class areas that’s where comedy is at its best, eg everyone knows a Jonah from Tonga growing up in school, or any other of his characters we have come across in our everyday life here in Australia but somehow the comedy we get on television is the bloody footy show 🤦‍♂️
