My son and myself watch every episode. He started collecting his vintage collection 3 months ago so its so fun for him. Also for me. I love that my 11 year old loves my old toys. Wish I had taken Cate of mine to give him. They all died horrible deaths. Dragged by bikes, run over by cars. Melted. So sad. But my son learns from my mistakes. Treats his toys like gold. #2000 Great series! I've been watching since episode 1. I had all these figures as a kid, kept them, and displayed them in my Los Angeles apartment. All were mint, and since I'd had them since they were first produced, I knew that every one of them and their accessories were genuine. I had a family emergency all the way across the country in 2012 and stuck my whole life into storage... except my figures. I left them with my best friend because that sounded safer. About three years ago, he simply disappeared. No one we knew has heard a work from him. Now, I find myself starting from scratch, too. Your journey is fun to watch.

#2000 Joey, I have been loving your journey, having watched from the start. You have actually inspired me (as I am sure with may others) to dig out my old figures and begin a re-collection. Sadly, a few months before seeing this series, I sold off some of my figures for far less than I am having to replace them for (preeching to the choir here obviously). Great video as always! The imperial commander is also one of my favorite figures as well. Are you thinking about extending your rules to include the retro collection figures like Tarkin? I decided to do that for the figures that don’t exist in the original line #2000

#2000 Episode 66 is fantastic Joey! Really enjoyed the recap of how far you have come so far which is amazing! I fully agree with you about the Jawa as you need to be very sure and very careful about what your doing, and the best way is to get one that is graded. Talking of capes and cloaks, I noticed that the kenner yoda retro collection figure released about a year ago has a cloth cloak that is extremely difficult to tell from the original vintage cloak, from what I can tell the retro cloak has white stitching on the inside whereas the original vintage one's stitching is the same color as the actual cloak. A bit worrying for vintage collectors i would be really interested about your thoughts on this in a future episode. Kind regards Gary

That would be superb Joey! It is scary how identical the retro Yoda cloak is to the original vintage cloak. I have also seen a few loose retro Yoda figures for sale on Ebay, but without their cloaks, so people may be removing the cloaks and selling them as vintage cloaks, very concerning 🙂

The Imperial Commander is another of Kenners infamous colour snafus! Black uniforms were for non commissioned officers, who were mainly techies and lower ranks. Higher ranking officers such as commanders were the gray uniforms. The ATAT commander was general Veers in Canada (briefly), but the Imperial Commander card clearly shows Veers! Confusing, isn't it ? Another nice video, Joey! By the way, #2000. Was that it? Have to watch again, now...

They modeled both Imperial Commander and AT-AT Commander on the same actor, Julian Glover...same guy on the card photography. It's cool because he was such a competent officer. They had planned to kill him off during the battle of Hoth so he wasn't in the rest of the movie. Too bad. Would have been cool to have a Captain Piet too. I always enjoy your videos.
