Hi. Lefty here. Do as we always do - just do implement what he says, on the opposit side. 10pct are lefthanded and we surely do understand that when he shows stuff for the righthanded, it's just the same for us, but like, on the other side. So two left-handed players would be the same as two righthanded, just reversed sides? 😅✌️

@@9cobabs Then you get weird people like me who are naturally left handed but play sports right-handed. It normally means in sports like tennis the backhand becomes more of a weapon. In padel I prefer the right side. IIRC Rafa Nadal is right-handed but plays left-handed so I'm not the only weirdo.

I'm a left side player, but I find the right side an amazing position. I feel beginners should start on the right. It helps a lot to learn the game from a tactical and patience point of view. One of the biggest issues I see at a beginner level is that players try to be overly aggresive regardless of the position. That's why the right side is better to start learning. Once the technique is there, it is easier to start learning more aggresive shots and maybe switch to the left side. The last 4 months of my training have been all about control. It's a very tactical sport and one thing I've learn is that every rally might have 10-20 shots but only one winner or unforced error. So it's better to play the ball, setup an easy ball and then be aggressive, and that is why the right side is an amazing position.

Sandy currently I play left side because my partner is to inconsistent with his overheads but he has a extremely powerful smash but i’m way more consistent with my shots and have a bigger arsenal then him with my overheads and I can also aim my vibora better then him but it tends to be that i build up play for him on the left hand side and my question is if we should consider switching

As a right side player I really enjoy mixing up my overheads to also hit, actually quite a few, them straight down, parallell to the wall on my right hand side. Hitting them as such, without much power, making them die in the corner, I’ve found to be very effective, atleast at my current (intermediate) level of play. Could this be wrong from a tactical standpoint? Is it a shot I should try to swap for the ganchos and bandejas you showcase here, or is it fine to have as part of the mix? I just don’t want it to bite back at me as I progress!
