Industrial style is great for families too because the materials are so durable. We live in a big city and this style works in our single family home. On another note, I would've liked to see some accent color recommendations as well. Personally, we chose deep petrol blue and a mustardy yellow since we have a combination of warm wood floors and black slate tile.

I would think that the reason why we LOVE the industrial look and style…is because we mostly see it in some to most of these coffeehouses where we go to not just get our cup of Java but to really… Sit down and relax for as long as we want. There’s a certain feel and vibe about the industrial look and a coffeehouse that knows how to get us into our comfort zone.

Yeahh the vibe is that it's a good balance between modern and old fashioned. The old fashion keeps it organic and grounded while the modernity of it makes it fresh and spacial.

I’m enjoying these style videos! I think of rusty colors for wood and also aged copper. And a flat black looks really striking against red brick. With careful choices in shades of white and a mixture of woods, even a shop in a strip mall can create a great industrial vibe. What is your favorite almost black to use in a matte or flat finish?🌸

My teen dreams were made of industrial loft spaces in cities like Chicago, Quebec City, or San Francisco. We’ll have to see what retirement dreams bring. p.s. BenMo Deep Space is my jam.

Gen X started wanting to live in cities rather than suburbs at the same time factories were closing. So, make the people feel that industrial is cool. Pretty slick bit of marketing that.
