Good to revisit this (and I think appropriate in the context of the new Ops decision) and thanks. I have two questions on the media that I'd appreciate if you or Muzammil will address. Recently, Tajikistan parliament formally banned the hijab (although there was a soft ban on it and beards for a while). No Pakistani newspaper reported (well, at least, the English ones). A cursory search of the main TV channels also returned zilch. While one can guess (even from here in India) why Pakistan's mainstream media practices such obfuscation and sleight of hand operation, I'm surprised that even social media has avoided it. Other than how this reflects on the integrity of Pakistani media, the reasons you two guys must discuss this is to highlight the incontrovertible truth that (1) military ops is not enough to curb extremism (needs a more organic approach/solution) and (2) just like the previous point, neither will banning beards and hijabs solve the problem. While I find it reprehensible that a state anywhere should determine how citizens present themselves, it is also dangerous and it has potential for sparking a revolt. What comes will be more dangerous by an order of magnitude. (Tajikistan's Persian-speaking neighbor is kind of an example after the Shah-era). The next one is a little dicey for you to discuss, I recognize. Other than a press release (read state "memo") imprint, no one discusses the recent news of some media persons' property being seized. Although the charges against them are old, their properties being seized in a new order and an opportunity for social media to discuss. I know why but I hope someone will discuss. And "the eyes" in the sky watching this, I'd like them to know that, one day, their time will also be over and you'll be eating crow. That's the way life goes. DISCLOSURE: I'm not a PTI supporter. I'm not even a Pakistani. I'm Indian but I do not delight in the misery people go through under an oppressive state and self-serving elites - be it India or Pakistan.

As a mahsud i am ashamed and down that this guy from waziristan "ehsan tipu mahsud" said that millitants/taliban exist as on their own, he did not tell that these people/taliban are there under 100% fascilitation of army/isi/agencies. At least i did not expect this from a waziristani journalist, even understanding the red line if you can't say the truth fully so please do not misguide people when you know all the truth. Your problems have few dimensions religious , political and economical . The foundation of Pakistan was laid on Hindu hatred and a separatist stand that we cannot co exist . This hatred emanates from the book/ teachings you follow and remains an endemic in all the people across the globe who follow it . Even if you take recent history , all those immigrants who migrated to Europe for a living have proved that they cannot live in the societies which have sheltered them. The violence that Islam carries and glamorises is in itself an enough reason for friction with the societies it lives in. The problem of Pakistan has its roots to the Arab world . Unless the Islamic world wakes up and sorts its issues on a global level , lasting peace in this world will be distant dream.Till such time , other communities will have to sacrifice their blood for having you around .

No one can become taller by cutting down the other person. One always reaps as one sows. The snakes that Pak breeds and feeds to bite the neighbor will definitely bite the host as well.
