With that name i expected it to be about 360 no scopes or something, but this is a more interesting concept. Favours a careful sniper that sets up ambushes instead of rushing in and quickscoping the first person in sight.

I'm more worried of Sniper/Engie teams setting up in a hallway chokepoint like the intel room hallways on 2-Fort and just spamming the infinite ammo Dispenser Trickshot down the hallways, permalocking them. In those scenarios, accuracy doesn't matter.

Seems cool on the surface but I can see this being easily abused. Any hallway will become a death trap as a sniper can comfortably bounce shots while behind cover. Even worse if there's multiple snipers.

The damage is still too low, and the chance to make a bullet bounce long enough and then get hit enemy would be too rare to use this thing, during most of the demonstration it was used as a regular rifle. Only a few ricochet kills were made, and that was down to luck, not the player. Maybe a ricocheting weapon makes sense, but definitely not for a sniper. Maybe ricocheting rockets?

In most places, it's worthless, while in very tight spaces and hallways, it's crazy strong. I think this could be balanced out by upping the damage quite a lot, so it can be used as a regular sniper rifle, and then having damage falloff for ricochets? The slower fire rate is enough of a tradeoff for the bonus ricochet ability. Maybe I'm wrong. But it seems like then it could be conventionally used, with some downsides, but also some unique uses, but not too strong in those unique uses.

I'm guessing this is a Manually-Actuated Barrett, one that locks back the bolt, and then you have to pull the bolt back so it shoots again. Yes i am analyzing a TF2 custom xd

Is the ricochet bonus compounding or flat? IE if it bounces 4 times, do you get a 30% bonus to base damage (total 32.5) or 25*1.075^4? Actually, after doing the math, the difference is minimal, which leads me to think that it's overbalanced. 40% reduction, 50% slower firing, and 41% damage per ricochet would be my rebalance. Roughly every 2 ricochets it doubles in power since I used the square root of 2. After 8 ricochets, any class is done for, regardless of overheal. A 40% damage reduction still lets you knock an overhealed Demoman, but not quite an overhealed Soldier or base Heavy. However, if you bumped it down to 33% reduction (base damage of 33.5 ish) then you could. Might want to go with the cube root of 2 (26%) for the ricochet damage boost, though. That'll make it so every 3rd ricochet is roughly doubling the power. 12 ricochets = any class at any state (besides ubercharged or etc) is done for.
