The roses look like what I see out of my window in my craft room!!! except in the winter where all I see is snow!!! LOL!! I had removed a page from my journal and was going to stick it in another journal only to realize I had decorated both sides!! Since there were a few pages that I took out only because my journal had too big of an alligator mouth, I combined them together by binding them thus creating a mini journal to be put in another journal! Not recommended !!! Your putting down the leaf reminded me I found a whole bunch pressed in a huge dictionary!! Couldn't decide what to do with it, now thanks your video I have several ideas what to do with my stuff!! and since it is snowing and will have an accumulation of 40 cm (15 inches) it's a perfect day for this projet du jour!! I love just winging it ... and using up scraps - some of my most fulfilling crafting times. I get a bunch of tags made up and decorative envelopes like the "journey" one you made. I find I grab for these often to attach to last minute gifts.

Pam, hint for using dried plant materials....... After gluing it down, take it outdoors and spray it with Art Fixative. It will help protect your delicate plant materials. Two light coats should work. P.S. it's 17F outside right now in Oregon's Willamette Valley. Too cold for this delicate flower!

Happy Sunday! I really enjoyed the journal pages today. They looked rather “winterish” but I am in Canada and it is cold and very windy today. Time to do some junk journaling! I am a kindergarten educator and we have decided to make our own wrapping paper for parent gifts- butcher paper with splatters etc or paintings on thin easel paper. Why buy wrapping paper??
