The writing in German reads something to the effect of Tin ware for the kitchen....the first dishwasher was invented was invented, of course!, in 1850 by a woman Josephine Cochran and it was of all things, a wooden box!!! I think this was a cupboard that holds the tin ware but it sure looks like the bread box we had in the country and mom put her in it!!! LOL!! My uncle who built and furnished the country house was surely one of the first of the recyclers as he built the house and furnished the house from the junk yard!! (Much to my mom's dismay!) We even had an icebox (fridge!) that we had to buy ice before arriving at the country house to keep our things cold. .....this was in the early 60's!!! We had oil lamps, and a record player that played 78's that we had to crank the handle to get music. The head boards on all the beds were hand carved by my uncle as was the upright standing closet for our clothes. Sorry for the lengthy memories

Hi Pam! Petra here from the Netherlands. Since a few months i follow you on KZbin. I love the way you love and talk about paper. I have exactly the same abnormal attraction to old “carbage” paper. Love it! I’ve bought a bananabox full with old stuff on the fleemarket, i think about 150 old foto’s, journeyfolders, paper placemats etc etc for €20! The feeling en the smell of old story’s on that paper brings my fantasy and creativity alive. 🙏 lots of greets from Holland

I made my first neutral strips that I can cut down for clusters, altered paperclips or make into belly bands, tucks or even bookmarks. I had so much fun because I also used some of my first 3 days worh of coffee dyed papers, using different types of papers, and some newly acquired free old books from the library pages. I had so much fun. Thank you so much for inspiring me to get some papercraft done for the first time in years. I appreciate you and Sunny in my daily life. 😃🧡

Hello Pam, i'm in love with this serie... for "Esquisitos" in spanish, it's like "Exquis" in french... the exact translation should be "Delicate" or "made with perfection". It was used for cigarrillos or cigar boxes, and even some really pricey alcohols, to mean that they were exceptional products to consume, a little bit like we now use the word "Luxe" in different languages. Also, Exquis can be seen as "unusual things", as for example a "cadavre exquis" in french is to making art (whatever the base is) from different hands without seeing what the other did before, to make it unusual and unique, and maybe a little weird in a way, and if you look at the definition in portuguese you will have this definition "Weird" attached to "Esquisitos". That's crazy! All that said, i really like that you put a lot of treasures, it's truly giving that little touch and attention to details that i love to see in junk journals. Thank you for your videos, and greetings! 🥰

Pam, I am cracking up because we recently rescued a mini-schnauzer, all white, probably around 8-9 years old…and one of his quirks has been to nip at people’s ankles!! My mother was actually with us and in a wheelchair, and “Snowball” actually broke her skin a bit..yikes! It seems to only be with people he hasn’t met, and there’s no growling or aggressive behavior. It’s like he is saying “This is my house..who are you?” He is very well behaved other than this. Seems like once he initiated people, it’s not a problem. 🤷♀️
