Good morning Pam! 💕 Was listening and watching over my shoulder while making my coffee. I let the ads run… I learned that I need to diet, I stink, need to exercise, am living unaware that I have a horrible disease, and wear the wrong bra. 🤣🤣🤣 That spine cover is awesome. 👍 Always enjoy watching you make awesome things from scrappy stuff. Have a great Saturday everyone! 💕

Mousey Deb you are so funny! I finally upgraded my KZbin so I didn’t have to see those ads. They can make you feel bad about yourself! LOL!😂

Where i live, the ads talk about clogged poop in your body. I kid you not! I swear they do it so that you’ll despair and go for the ad free version!

IF they knew you were hearing those ads Before Coffee they'd probably save their bandwidth. I mean, come on, Who Gives a Hoot before that glorious first jolt of coffee? [not me] After Coffee, we are inoculated against ad propaganda and can just laugh at them. BTW, I didn't notice *any* stink in your comment, just mentioning!

If my sewing were that neat with all the threads so nicely aligned I'd never hide them! As it is the thread are generally crooked and different lengths. So I always cover the spine. I just did that on an altered book, and I glued a layer of fleecy fabric on the spine first. Then a strip of purple corduroy (from old pants). So the spine is squooshy and soft to hold!

Happy Saturday miss Pam, love using fabric and laces in journals. Brings them to a whole different level don’t you think? Love the fabric lace and buttons for the spine, so pretty . I used to have fabri tac but I can’t find it anymore except in small bottles which is an astronomical price. So I’ve been using my tacky glue which holds everything perfectly. Sweet bookmark, so pretty. Thank you so much for sharing and for the inspiration. Have a very creative day Outpost peeps ❤️🤗🙏 hugs and blessings

What fun! Makes me think of doodling... this is so much more...this you can use...well, I guess you can use doodles in a journal. 🤪🥰 It is lovely. I love the print of the second fabric. The direction of TP is really personal choice. If it is facing in the what seems the most popular direction does make it easy for ones cat to unroll it. 🤪🙀

LOVE the spine cover. So gorgeous! I'm so glad in your morning chattiness, you addressed the age old toilet paper issue! 😅 In complete agreement! I've even had several turn my roll when they were in there, to force me to comply. You know I turned it right back before she left, even. It really isn't that big a deal...until someone tried to force me to acquiesce! I'm sure my rebellious ways were gossipped about! 😂
@aunt_b3365 Жыл бұрын
I love your story! I love it because I did that to my sister-in'law's too as a joke because we were discussing this issue one day. Issues, is that right? - No is not. Lol . We were laughing about why it seems to be a big deal to some. Anyway, I even did the fancy point . I thought surely she'd say something to me but never did. I know her, she would have said something if she'd have noticed it was me. Maybe because it was in the quest bathroom . ??? She must not of seen it. We are best friends so I'll try again one day. 😂❤

Goooood morning, Pam & fellow paper aficionados! Hoping everyone has a wonderfully crafty weekend. =D Yesterday, I played with Apoxy Sculpt and made little butterflies, flowers, leaves, and 2 dragonflies with the use of molds. Totally fun! More playing today (not with the apoxy)... just not sure yet what direction I'll go in. Lol. Thinking of seeing how well a technique I saw that involved paper towels or toilet paper (kitchen/loo roll) to do pretty much the same in a mold, but the results are lighter weight (and, at the cost of apoxy - although a little seems to go far lol... cheaper possibly, but def more accessible to everyone). So, who knows. I could end up digging in my fabric and trying the things Pam shows us. =D Hoping everyone has a wonderfully creative day and weekend! ❤ Edit: hehe, "pita cuss" for cut a piece. I love it. Partner heard and looked up and said "Hi, Pam!" and I had to laugh more cus it's through those Pamerisms he actually knows who she is. 😂❤ (Several phone calls later... yeesh lol)... I LOVE that button hidden spine "cover"... i dunno what to call that, but it was stunning. And that fabric bookmark... love the fabric, love the result. Great video as always, Pam... and smoochies to the always adorbs sun-bun. =D

Norma, I had that issue with not being able to find the start of my washi tape. Here's a tip I discovered that's been such a stress saver; just fold the end back on itself a bit so there's a little tab/flap. This method my waste a smidge of tape, but it's so worth not dealing with the grief. Hope this helps. 🙂
