Hi. I already changed my phone's battery but i have an issue. I hope you can help. Before I changed my Note 8 Pro's battery (which was the stock battery), whenever I charge it to full, the battery meter says I have 23 hours and 41 mins. left. After replacing the battery I noticed that my battery life wasn't much improved. It wasn't as good as when the phone was new. I used a reputable brand in my country. Then I checked the battery meter and I noticed that the battery usage time left was still 23h and 41m. I remember that when the phone was new, it said something like 42 hours left. Now the time to depletion was stuck at 23h 41m. I also noticed that charging time was quite a bit longer: the stock battery charged to full in just 2 hours with the stock 18w charger. Now it takes about 30 mins. longer using the same charger. 10w chargers took 2h 20m before. Now 2 hours charges the battery only up to 37% from 10%. I dunno what I'm missing here. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance. 🙏

Wait long enough and the glass back pops off all on its own. No hot air or brutal force required! The battery 'balloons' and slowly pushes it off over a period of a couple of months. The first sign that this has started to happen, is when white spots start to appear on the screen (as the LCD panel is squeezed). Then the wide angle camera produces photos with stigmatism effect - centre bright and all four corners dark. I wrongly thought my phone was heading in the direction of the dustbin - until I removed the silicone armoured case, that was holding the entire thing together! Very clever design, by Xiaomi! 😂

You forgot to show that the center lens is also glue in place and has to be press out with the cover , so the plug doesn’t get damaged
