Really enjoyed the music - the creativity and execution are great. However, I was distracted and bothered that the guy didn't let the gal in the door. I spent most of the video wondering about her. I figure my young students will spend most of the video thinking about that friend that was left at the door instead of paying attention to the music. Then they did let her in - but didn't include her, even 'shushed' her. We, teachers & parents, spend a lot of time teaching about kindness and acceptance. I wish I could use this video as an example of that.

I don't thing it was a woman thing more so just an outsider thing. Where I'm from our percussion is treated as second class by the rest of the band, like we bring nothing to the table that couldn't be done by literally anyone else. Our band assume they could come over and instantly play our part flawlessly, and any mistake means we have a crappy percussion, then they come over and play with our equipment when we never touch there's, and I have heard enough from others that it's not an isolated issue to my band. So I believe it truly was just a harmless little jab at those whom refuse to give the smallest gratitude to people who's beats they clearly like.
