Paul Stamets of Fungi Perfecti - The Full Interview from R-Future 2021
My camera dies near the end so ZOOM places a stock image that tends to flicker off and on - my apologies for the oddness, but I wanted you to have the full interview.

Apologies for the ZOOM issues at the end - my camera died and my automated profile picture showed up flickering on and off, so that's why that's there, but I wanted to share with you all the full interview: even with the craziness of doing it live and having something go wrong. Thank you for being here and understanding. - MP

I have 7 acres in North Missouri. I've been here 17 years and just now finding mushrooms other than morels. Thank you for the knowledge. They had to be there all along but now I see them. Oh, how I wish you guys could walk my ground with me. It is beautiful and has "places that only fairies live"; as the old woman raised here told me.

Thank you for sharing this wisdom! Paul is so truly inspiring. I am creating a community movement to reconnect people with nature and with each other, as yes, we need unity! I travelled for a decade around the world and yes it's about paying back So, by organising events where I will donate money on a monthly basis to people who want to inspire, empower, and educate one another by taking actions such as planting healthy seeds. Gathering together, organizing land cleaning and celebrating later life together. Creating blueprint of possibilities around the world, in this way, we can evolve the way we travel, why we travel, and how we communicate with each other so much more yet to come :) again, thank you. Blessings! Happy to colobarate as articulation is not my strongest side, yet I'm working on it to bring more content and reach more people

I love Paul I'm a boater as well and I'm using the 10 acts of kindness next time someone needs a tow. You never ask for money anyway because you might be the next one. My concenous was blown wide open at an early age and a lot of people didn't really get my thoughts as they were very much like Paul's. But I want to make my next step in life going twords farming all kinds of wonderful mushrooms.

Added to this we have prehistoric sites such as Avebury, Stonehenge and other numerous other henges around the world all set around the pattern of 'fairy circles' caused by Fungal mycelium. And mounds which might be representative of Mushroom caps.

His story made me really angry. How can we live in a society where a person threatening murder and attempting rape just gets to run free? I sure hope Telluride has figured it’s shit out since then!!!! I’m glad you’re safe Paul. You’re courageous for helping that woman.

My first time watching Matt Powers - came because of Stamets - but WOW Matt - what a good interviewer you are - so many over talk, share too much about themselves (little bits each pod cast are ok - but may give a ton each time) - you let your guest shine - and gently focus the topics. I'll be subscribing now ! thanks
