ThePetebox has been doing this for over 17 years. Sam Perry, the Australian you mentioned, was likely inspired by him. And loads of people beatbox on loopstation, it’s not a ripoff to use the same instrument. It’s fine if you prefer Sam Perry over him, but no need to disrespect people for their choice of instrument, especially when you don’t know the history.

The instrument is great. The guys voice is terrible and he's trying to cover it up this way. Where was the actual beatboxing everyone is talking about? There wasn't any in this clip.
