That's good we have already brand new passenger vessel from trans asia shipping. I saw video they have modern bridge equipment using ECDIS. I just hope they will train also the deck officer how to install ENC license/ECDIS

I remember when I first saw her in the waters of San Bernardino Strait. I was on-board her ex-sistership Asia Japan, now Nathan Matthew. As acting VTS, we were able to establish HF and VHF contact with her as she sailed through San Bernardino St. commanded by Capt. Garalde who happens to be a close friend and used to be a coworker.
