I knew you'd be their! Great coverage. It was a small medical Lear jet with 6 people on board. I've seen and downloaded a video of a guy completely engulfed on fire walking in a daze after being hit. Going down a side parking lot. I feel for the guy. Didn't know what hit him. I could never post it on KZbin. To gruesome to watch

This has got to be one of the worse things I have seen in Philly,,, this and the Osage fire in 1985
@jacquelinemckinney41476 күн бұрын
I remember Osage. I lived in the Italian Section of West Philadelphia in a 3rd floor apartment. No cable TV. I remember hearing the very loud explosions. I moved to Philadelphia for school and work. I love Philadelphia. I bleed green. What a terrible tragedy. I am praying 🙏 for everyone involved. God 🙌 bless!

@@jacquelinemckinney4147 yes this is a tragedy, I am not sure how people will get over this day. The news was on for hours broadcasting this, it happened at 6pm right when everyone is getting home from work and the streets were full of traffic, what a horrible night!

Scariest thing is with that massive fireball who knows how many people were burned up in their cars, thousands of pounds of fuel in the plane since it just took off and was only in the air for about 30 seconds. Plane had a little girl that was just treated in Philly and was going home, just adds extra sadness. A few row homes were destroyed, but it looks like firefighters got a lot of people out before the fires spread.
@Bowling_Dude6 күн бұрын
it looks like the plane stalled too, which is even more scary.
@MartysRandomStuff6 күн бұрын
@@Bowling_Dude It sounded like the engines were at full throttle as it went down. That is not what a pilot would do when a stall happens, this was something weird that happened instantly. They just did a normal readback to change frequency and a few seconds later they were in the ground.

Thanks for this. Thought about heading over there last night, but figured this would be total chaos, gridlock. Just sad! Breaking just 20 min. ago (12pm Sat.) Along with 6 on board the plane, which is utterly heartbreaking, especially for the child and her mom, it does seem at least one person on the ground - inside a car was killed. Unreal.

This is the second plane crash in northeast Philadelphia. I remember being a kid in the 80s and there was one about couple blocks away from this site. The other one almost hit the free library. Not sure if it’s still there. I lived on Leonard street across from the Roosevelt mall. I now live in langhorne. Things have changed so much..
