Destiny 2: Revenant - Mithrax's Curse of Nezarec Cutscene & Becoming A Slayer Baron

Ever since Mithrax used the artifacts of Nezarec to awaken Osiris from his coma in Seasn of Plunder, an affliction brought upon by Nezarec now plagues him. Could he be turning into a scorn, or a new vessel for Nezarec?

Anyone else had the feeling nezarec took somewhat over mothrax when he speaks of the eliksni dying.... It just hit even more after seeing nezarecs shadow in the cutscene

On the Episodic Ghost Shell this Episode, Mithrax had a nightmare of him unknowingly killing Eido. Combined with the fact that he’s been suffering this curse for almost 2 years up to this point with hints from previous lore entries, it looks like Nezarec’s Curse is about to reach its painful climax. It’s even more unsettling given the fact that his voice changes during any conversation we have with him. On top of this, he has a whole Servitor to himself to slow the curse down. Keep in mind he only takes what he needs. This is a race against time on two fronts. We have to cure Mithrax, but we also have to permanently kill Fikrul while that’s going on to stop the Scorn. This is kinda dire. Not Final Shape levels of dire, but kinda dire nonetheless.

Really all I want is an excuse for the Final God of Pain to return. He’s such an underrated antagonist and deserves his own Episode or Season

Thinking about it, if we kill Mithrax before Fikrul,and he does a "vulture" move and turns Mithrax into a corrupted fallen WITH the curse... Or he manages to power through with sheer will before then and kills him mid-curse. IDK, but we do need more nezarec moments besides "tea time","outta bed", and curses. Though it would be pretty cool if nearer did do some early curses before the raid upon unsuspecting victims lying dormant. Oh well...

Isn't it ironic? We unmade The Witness, and after all that devotion, bravery and sacrifice thing-y for The Traveler, turns out it's Fikrul who got blessed with powers of the Light. Whoever still remains at BUNGIE is just being spiteful at this point.

Just play the onboarding mission for the season. I’ll drop a summary below: Summary: Fikrul is back with one of the Echoes, and now he can turn living Eliksni into Scorn (prior to this, only dead Eliksni could be transformed). He then crashes our party with Eramis and then crashes the H.E.L.M. into Europa while Eido and Mithrax set up shop in the Last City.

This whole event's thing is going to be watching all the progress we made with the Eliksni fall apart once Mithrax goes mad king. Then Eramis is going to escape somehow, and we'll go right back to square one and killing Eliksni en masse again, except it'll be in lore as well as in game.

The voice actor voices Variks, as well as a lot of other characters within media, such as every Clone Trooper in the Clone Wars. I’d recognize his voice anywhere, though it’s strange that they removed aspects of the voice.
