PIANO CHORD INVERSIONS

In this tutorial, I teach you about the inversions of chords - root position, first inversion, and second inversion. I teach what inversions are, how they look on the staff, and how to find them on the piano. I show you examples using major, minor, diminished, augmented, sus 4, sus 2 and open 5 (power) chords. Even though I use a piano for this tutorial, the chords are the same for whatever instrument you play. This is part 2 of a 3 part tutorial. All links below:

Educational and easy to follow as usual, Marina 👍😊 Just took at quick glimpse at Bach's C major prelude, which I have almost learned to play. In addition to (almost) knowing how to play it, I now see that it ends with a first inversion C major chord. I am so enjoying also learning music theory from you 😎🎶

@@ThePianoKeys Well, you are more than welcome, and keep safe in all that you do. Yes. Covid has us restricted again, and it just seems that the music just keeps going. I have told people that it seems like covid has us stopped in many things, but we pianists just keep working. The music seems to just bee getting better while the virus just keeps on getting worse. We are going to make people happy this holiday season and keep that music going like we know how. For sure!!
