Ark Survival Evolved - House Build - Rustic Modern Mansion (Speed Build)

Welcome to my new Ark Survival Evolved House Build, this is a Rustic Modern House Design based on a real house.
This is a creative PvE house design, it has a larger stone lower floor with crafting areas and two industrial forges.
The main floor is built from wood with a large curved glass window at the front, it has a living area with a central open fireplace, there is room for flyers and a Hatchery.
I still have a lot of things I want to build on Ark, I am really looking forward to getting started on Genesis 2.

Some tips from what I encountered while building this: - If using S+: - You don't need any fence foundations due to pillars being able to snap to foundations/ceilings (But I did find trouble with the dino gates since those don't snap as well... - You can make all stone stuff and use the S+ gun or just settings on the build piece to change it to wood - Small Stone Pillars are the equivalent to regular pillars in game. They just look different since they dont overlap like the vanilla ones - The S+ gun is absolutely GOATED. Please use it! - Other General Stuff: - Tame a Sinomacrops if you're doing this in survival, they are goated - Build outlines of the foundations first if you are not doing it in this exact location. I did it on the island so I had to make sure everything fit Lastly: It is perfectly OK for it to not resemble his build PERFECTLY. This is your Ark, make it unique!

Love this, it gives off a very rich whitehouse vibe, looks amazing!! I love that all space is used perfectly even with dinos in there it doesn’t look cluttered, my favourite is that fire pit in the living room

Hey Monk, thanks I did not go over the top with the decor I really liked the open spaces as well. I have been thinking more about bases that can be used in-game PvE, I know any base is ok but I do build a lot of RP stuff that looks good but is not too useful when you are looking to breed and craft

Your talented, ive always found building in ark so difficult compared to other games, that I don't even find it worth it to make something look good any more, but building something like this house to me is very impressive.

The gates in the newer Ark Survival Ascended are only three walls high, but this is ok as the walls in Ascended are taller. Just use three stone walls on the bottom portion of the build. Also the pillars in Ascended do not overlap; so you will use fewer of those as well. I love this build and it looks wonderful in the new Ark. I hope to hear from you soon Pilgrim. Built this in Ark Ascended today and with the new building pieces and ray tracing it looks absolutely epic. I absolutely love the pattern on the underside of the new wood ceilings when you are on the lower level. The added bonus of doing it in ASA is you don't need to use fence foundations at all to snap pillars to the corners of foundations. Saves on materials and so much more fun to build when you can cruise through it without fidgeting with snap points all the time.

@@DynaKitty Glad to hear someone else is trying it on Ascended too because I love this build so much. I changed a lot of the details to customize the function and save from some of the building (small balconies on the front that don't wrap around the big curved bay window and an elevator on the side to bring farming dinos up to a second level balcony instead of stairs). I used wooden walkways on the second level to attach the different buildings because I loved how they look. Good luck with the rest of your build! :)

What was your solution to the stone roof placement? I have patches all through my roof because the stone won’t connect to another piece going the opposite way 😭

@@derdeviluff4796 I don't have the exact co-ordinates in front of me because I'm not logged on to the Island map at the moment, but it is somewhere around 17, 70 on the Island. It's between the north shore and the Hidden Lake area. There is a small body of water in that area and I made this build facing that. There is only just barely enough flat space for it, but it does fit. If you used some ceilings and pillars instead of some of the foundations you'd have a lot more wiggle room of where to place it.

Just found this video a few days ago, couldn't follow the design past about 20 minutes due to the spot I chose to build it and the resources I needed were too much for me to collect in a timely fashion, but I switched to a similar design and I loved it and I love this build regardless of weather I could do it or not. Trouble with following your build in the very beginning. All the stone blocks look so similar when I did the screen grabs. It wasn't until I was able to take out the square stone foundationz and replacing them with wood foundationz. Then I used the stone triangles foundationz. This made the pattern in which to assimilate your very complex, very cool build. It took a long time to assimilate and understand and how to replicate the foundation of your build. Maybe in the future you can use my procedure. Then later with the same color foundation. I hope this helps others as it did for me :-)

Hey man, just a helpful tip, if u tape the settings/3 vertical dots while watching the video, u can change the video speed, and since its mostly text to read, that should really help man... I use that myself with these vids

Like all your builds are great, but do a tutorial that states the amount of structures and the size of the house, you will make everyone's day so much better and easier if you do that, because nice you can build but show us, because I love your builds so please tutorial with amount of structures and then maybe a layout.

Just follow along as he goes, craft 100 of whatever he's using atm and whenever you run out inevitably just go out and craft another 100. I've been working on this for a little under a week, I'm half way through it currently at 44:14 and just ran out of sloped ceilings so am about to go craft another stack. It's nice having like 6 chests to throw your material in before crafting and also keeping all your spare structures in a chest up at the main build. Can't wait to be finished it's looking amazing.

careful when on switch: I was at 24min of this video when the game told me i had too many structures. 1632 can only be in an area. I don't know what counts as that area, but it shows i cannot finish it. I'll have to remove a lot of upper pillars, the house on the right, and hopefully can at least do two levels of the house...

It's in 4x speed, so if you use the KZbin playback speed function and set it to 0.25x speed then it will look normal speed

That moment at 39:20 so sad :( Yeah i rebuild it at 0.50 speed (the front glass i used stairs to slopes to make it fit) in fully mirrored build. I love it, i love it, i love it.

I've tried a lot to make this part of the glass and the roof together and it's going wrong. how did you do it?

@@adrianomorais6846 i ended up making the front 2 rows of the roof from stairs, changed into slopes. Though it shows a tiny gap between sloped roof and stairs, its hardly noticable and everything fits.
